Monarchs & WildCats!! By Marion Morrison EndZone Chief Hockey Writer Volume 58 Issue B5 Our last "fundraiser" of the season will be at a Monarch's game. The Monarch's have dedicated Friday October 25th @ 7:00pm as LYFS Wildcats Day. We will submit pictures of the kids during the season that the Monarch's will be showing on the jumbo TV's in center ice and they will focus camera's on the kids during "time outs" and throughout the game. This is a great opportunity for exposure for the Wildcats and a great way to raise lots of money for the program. GOOD SEATS $21 for lower bowl tickets, YES, that's right a group game that is NOT in the nose bleed section. Here's the best part, ALL football AND Cheerleaders with the WILDCATS organization get in for FREE (my favorite word) and a big portion of the tickets sales go right back to the Wildcats organization. We are hoping many of you are able to come out and support the Wildcats and Monarch's and remember to have your kids wear their Wildcat uniform for the camera's and to get in FREE. Ticket purchase details coming soon.. Wildcat Night This Friday at LHS vs. Merrimack By Walter Willison EndZone Lancer-Wildcat Liaison Just a reminder this Friday is "WILDCAT NIGHT" @ LHS - Game is at 7 PM. Come cheer for your home town Londonderry Lancers as they face Merrimack HS at LHS. FREE ADMISSION to the game for all Wildcats youth football and cheerleaders who wear their Blue football jersey or for cheer: Blue cheer top and/or Blue cheer coat). Let s try to sit in a common area and cheer on the Lancers in a "SEA OF BLUE" on Wildcat Night. The future Lancers start here at LYFS! Wildcats today Lancers tomorrow!!

Grade 3 & Division 8 White Host Manchester East By Demitria Guynes EndZone Sports Writer G3 Snake-bites Cobras. Rolling-rolling-rolling keep that offense rolling Manchester kept it close the first quarter. The teams traded possessions twice with neither squad gaining field advantage. The turning point was a fumble recovery (right) with only a few minutes left in the quarter by #53 Drew Heenan. On the next series #42 Andrew Kullman would gain the corner and carry the ball 37 yards down to the 14. Two plays later #40 Nathan Pedrick would take it the final 6 yards for the score (#53 Andrew Heenan the EP) and the Londonderry 7-0 at the end of the first quarter. Below #42 Andrew Kullman runs through the hole created by the line for his 37 yard run. With under a minute left in the first half #40 Nathan Pedrick on a dicing-slicing 21 yard run would advance the ball to the 14 yard line. Two plays later he would get the score (Drew Heenan EP run) and the Londonderry 14 to 0 lead at the end of the first half. Below #40 Nathan Pedrick gets his 21 yard 1 st down carry. #53 Drew Heenan, #79 Hunter Rheaume, #76 Nicholas Lemay, #42 Andrew Kullman and #56 Dylan Wrisley clear the way Now in the pouring rain the teams would trade back and forth possessions for the 3rd and most of the fourth quarter. Manchester fought back tough in the final quarter advancing the ball down field. On a 4th and 12 the Cobra QB fell back and with all his might (below left) launched a desperation pass downfield. Unfortunately #42 Andrew Kullman stepped in front of the ball (lower right) for the INT and Londonderry possession.

Behind a massive safety clearing block by Nathan Pedrick #42 Andrew Kullman would score on a 44 yard TD run (Drew Heenan EP run) to put Londonderry comfortably ahead 21 to 0 and the final victory. The G3 team advances their record to 5 and 1 with two regular season games remaining. It may have been raining WildCats and dogs.but that did not prevent the D8 White Cheer Team from showing their Wildcat pride. October is breast-cancer awareness month and like the NFL players and referees last weekend the Wildcats took to wearing PINK to highlight their uniforms.

Grade 4 & Division 8 Red vs. Manchester East By Caryn Johnson EndZone Sports Writer G4 Defense Struggles Continue Cobras Roll to Victory Tackling and blocking issues continue for the Wildcat G4 team. Taking the opening kick-off the Man-East Cobras took just 2 plays and 58 seconds to get the early score gaining 40 yards. Manchester would score twice more in the first quarter on runs of 43 yards and 34 yards for the 21 to 0 first quarter lead. Below - #41 Devin Ortiz takes the direct snap as his O-Line pushes forward. Londonderry would be held to under 50 yards of total offense as the Manchester defense continually interrupted plays at the line and in the back field. Manchester would score again after a long time-consuming sustained drive to lead 26 to 0 at the half. Below - #48 Hayden Austen, #55 Nathan DeFazio, and #60 Tyler Moore who each had 3 solo tackles gang-up on this stop of the Cobra running back Manchester would score again early in the 4th quarter after another sustained drive for the final 32 to 0 victory. The AYF lop-sided score rule ended the official game at this point. The G4 team falls to 1 and 5 with 2 games remaining in the 2013 season. Right Wildcat cheerleaders - even in the RAIN still picture perfect!!

Facing the Londonderry side-line the D8 Red Cheerleading Squad performs at half time. Grade 5 & Division 10 Finish Strong vs. Manchester By William Pratt EndZone Sports Editor The first half was no indication for how the game would ultimately finish. In a steady rain both defensive units controlled the tempo of the game with the offenses struggling to get solid footings. The slippery ball fell all day in Londonderry s favor. #48 Dean Haggett (right) would get the first fumble recovery half-way through the first quarter stopping a Manchester drive that went all the way to the Wildcat 20. Lance Martineau would get another fumble recovery late in the first quarter stopping another Manchester advance deep in Londonderry territory. #56 Lance Martineau was outstanding on defense. In addition to his fumble recovery, he would also record a QB sack and 10 solo tackles. #55 Will Reyes and #52 Jared Mas would each record 5 solo tackles. #21 Dylan McEachern would get the 3rd Londonderry fumble recovery in the 2nd quarter setting up a Londonderry scoring drive. Londonderry QB s would go 3 for 3 in passing. The first completion from #24 Lucas Seaman to #12 Aden Parsons would go for 36 yards down to the Manchester 24. (Right - Aden Parson almost gets away) The Cat offense would take over on the ground pounding it down to 4 yard line.

From there #56 Lance Martineau would slam up the middle stretching the ball almost to the goal line. The Cobra defender would knock the ball loose but #73 Luke Romanek was there to cover up the ball in the end zone for the Londonderry lead 6 to 0 at the end of the half. The ball kept bouncing Londonderry s way. Manchester attempted an on-side kick to start the 2nd half, and would be recovered by the Wildcats. On the next series #35 Matt Griffin would take the ball on a 3rd down run 49 yards (Will Reyes EP run) for the Londonderry 13-0 lead with 8 minutes left in the quarter. On the day Griffin, Reyes and Lucas Seaman would gain over 200 yards rushing behind the hard-blocking offensive lines. Above busy #56 Lance Martineau gets the sack top left and one of his 10 solo tackles above right Londonderry would pull further ahead on a 22 yard run by #24 Lucas Seaman (Haggett EP run) for the Londonderry 20 to 0 lead at the end of 3 quarters. The Wildcats would again take to the air in the 4th. Haggetts pass to Will Reyes would gain 17 yards to the Manchester 11. Lucas Seaman would take the ball the final 11 yards (Milton Duran EP run) for the final 27 to 0 Londonderry victory. The Grade 5 Cats would improve their record to 3 and 3. With 2 games left in the season the G5 team remain in the playoff hunt. Grade 6 & Division 10 Overwhelm Cobras By Mary Collins EndZone Sport Features Grade 6 Undefeated & Leads the G6 Division!! A BIG WILDCAT GOOD JOB to the D10 Cheerleaders in the rain and cold they performed for both the Grade 5 and Grade 6 football squads!!! It was not close. The struggling and winless G6 team from Manchester had the dubious honor of facing the undefeated and league leading Wildcat Grade 6 team. Londonderry s offense and defense shined in this

win. Manchester who ran 10 offensive plays in the first quarter was held for negative 12 yardage. Londonderry would score 3 times in the opening quarter. # 24 Jake Mceachern would score twice on runs of 24 yards each and #12 Joey Payson would scoop a fumble recovery and ramble 29 yards for the score. #8 Tyler Kayo would score just before half-time on a 24 yard run and the Londonderry 24 to 0 lead. Left - #24 Jake Mceachern on his way to one of his 1 st quarter TD runs The game would officially be over at the start of the 2nd half. #24 Jake McEachern, who would have 200+ yards on the day, would take the opening kick-off 64 yards and the final 30 to 0 Londonderry victory. The AYF lop-sided score rule would take over with the team competing in a controlled scrimmage to wind down the clock. In what may have been his first touch-down ever linemen #52 Jacob Cullen was given the opportunity to run the ball near the end of the game. Below Jacob #52 (center) is helped by his fellow linemen #90 Dylan Raadmae, #78 Cooper Bartlett, #85 Myles Chmielorz, #56 Jay Delano and #63 Blaine Hopkins for his 16 yard TD run bursting through the middle of the line.
