Internationaux de France de Sepak Takraw : Regu Men Event The 8 th European Championship sanctioned by the International Sepak Takraw Federation, will be held at the Malteries s Gymnasium in Schiltigheim and the Rhenus Sports Arena in Strasbourg during the European Fair whose special guest is the Republic of Thaïland. On behalf of the Association, we would like to officially invite all countries to participate at the 8 th European Championship in France. As in the past the organizing Committee will be responsible for the accommodation and internal transport. 4. EVENTS: The organizing Committee shall provide the most optimal mode of competition for all participating countries. A. European Championship: Regu Men (last 32 in 8 groups before 1/8 final) Regu Women (groups and finals according to the participants) Double Men (last 24 in 8 groups before 1/8 final) Double Women (groups and finals according to the participants) Open to all ISTAF members (except those who are playing the Internationaux de France de Sepak Takraw ) and invited teams. B. Internationaux de France : Regu Event Men / Country Round Robin and Finals: - National Team of Thailand - National Team of Malaysia - National Team of Iran - European Selection 5. AWARDS: Regu Men Trophy and medals Regu Women Trophy and medals Double Men Trophy and medals Double Women Trophy and medals Internationaux de France de Sepak Takraw Challenge Trophy 6. ACCOMODATIONS: The organising committee will provide local, board & lodging (food & accommodation) for 7 players and officers/country (4 players, 1 coach, 1 referee, 1 manager) from 1 st to 6 th September. If necessary, the organizing committee may charge 5 per day per person to all European citizens. Any extra days requested will be at participants s own cost. 7. SPECIAL ATTENTION CONCERNING RAMADAN : The Malteries s Gymnasium will be our from Wednesday 1 st to Monday 6 th at 7:00 am. The kitchen will be open 24 hours a day. A room will be dedicated for prayers Ramadan will be respected so any game can be postponed if necessary. 8. RULES AND REGULATION: In accordance with ISTAF Rules & Regulations currently in force.
9. EQUIPEMENT: ISTAF approved equipment will be used during the competition. 10.
