Athlete who gives his/her race kit to someone else, as well as the athlete who receives it, will immediately be disqualified from the event and may be suspended for up to two years from any IRONMAN or IRONMAN 70.3 race around the world. Still, can respond criminally for false ID.

CHIP The use of timing chip and chip holder is mandatory for all athletes during the race. In case of chip loss during the race, please let our team know as soon as possible. Athletes will be allowed to pick up another timing chip at the station located at Transition Area. The failure to return requires the payment of a fee of R$ 200.00 as a refund for the lost equipment.
BIKE MECHANICS September 30th During Bike Check-in: 5 mechanics. October 1st Transition Area: from 5:00 AM until the end of swim portion. During the bike leg: 5 mechanics. Mechanical support is allowed only from the race official mechanics

SWIM 1.9km 1 loop Turn buoys (orange): always on the right, except the last one on the left. Intermediate buoys (yellow): both sides allowed. 800m Cut-off time: 1h and 10m The swim course will close 1 hour and 10 minutes after the final athlete starts the swim. Each athlete will have 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete the 1.9km swim. Individual athletes who take longer than 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete the swim will receive a DNF. SWIM WAVE START FORMAT 6:45 to 7:15 AM WARM UP until 6:35 AM The athlete must access the start line through the entrance control, where the timing mats are located. Transition Area open from 5:00 AM to 6:40 AM. The athlete that for any reason have decided not to start the race, or exit the water before finish the swim portion, must IMMEDIATELY communicate the Organization.
SWIM SAFETY PLANS 800m 150m 460m 470m A PLAN PLANO B (Natação cancelada) B PLAN B PLAN In case of strong current, the swim course (PLAN A) can be changed to the other side. C PLAN In case of non-security conditions on water, the swim will be canceled and a bike time trail will happen instead. Procedures concerning this issue will be informed during Athlete s briefing.
SWIM The final decision regarding the using of wetsuits will be presented at the Athlete s Briefing. T1 Swim > Bike Port-o-lets Water and Isotonic Vaseline and Sunblock Athlete is entirely responsible for picking up his/her bag, getting his/her equipment, putting it back in the bag and closing it. All swim gear must be placed inside the Bike BLUE BAG on Transition Area.
BIKE 90.1 km 3 LAPS Cut-off time: 5 hours 1 big loop - 46 KM and 2 small loops - 20 km and 24 km approximately The bike course will close 05 hours after the final scheduled Age Group starts the swim. Each athlete will have 05 hours to complete the swim, T1, bike course regardless of when they start the swim. Any athlete that takes longer than 05 hours to complete the swim, T1 and bike course will receive a DNF.

Each individual athlete will have 08 hours to complete the entire course. Individual athletes who take longer than 08 hours to complete the entire course will receive a DNF.
