School Sport Australia is delighted to invite you to partner with us in bringing the 2017 Pacific School Games (PSG) to Adelaide from December 1-10, 2017. As well as the 4,500 athletes there will be over 800 school teachers, thousands of family members and 800 officials directly involved with the event. The 2017 PSG in Adelaide will be the 10th PSG and built on the very successful 2015 Games which was also held in Adelaide. An all-inclusive program will be conducted in various age groups and categories in the following sports: Over 15,000 athletes, officials and supporters 4,500 elite school-aged athletes Over 700 volunteers 15 countries including every Australian state and territory 10 sports 17 venues 10 days $13.6 million direct economic benefit in 2015 Over 80,000 views of the 2015 PSG live stream coverage Nearly 500,000 minutes of 2015 PSG action viewed online Over 110,000 website sessions during the 2015 Games Basketball 12 Years & Under Boys and Girls Diving 10-19 Years Boys and Girls Football (Soccer) 12 Years & Under Boys and Girls; 16 Years & Under Boys; and 18 Years & Under Girls Goalball (for vision impaired) 16 Years & Under Mixed Boys and Girls Golf - 12 Years & Under Boys and Girls; 17 Years & Under Boys and Girls Hockey - 12 Years & Under Boys and Girls; 16 Years & Under Boys and Girls Netball - 12 Years & Under; 15 Years & Under Girls Softball - 12 Years & Under Boys and Girls; 17 Years & Under Boys and Girls Touch Football - 12 Years & Under Boys and Girls; 15 Years & Under Boys and Girls Track and Field 10 to 19 Years Boys and Girls As well as the sporting competition students, their family and officials will have an opportunity to participate in a range of other events including the Opening Ceremony (attended by over 13,000 people in 2015), compulsory educational excursions, a stakeholder s dinner, official s dinner (x2) and the official Games Village. All of these provide great opportunities for PSG partners to promote their partnership through interaction, advertising and networking. There will be large screens available at the Opening Ceremony, the Games Village and selected event locations showing highlights and live streaming of events. There will be an extensive social media campaign associated with the Games providing opportunities for partners to advertise during live streaming of two events every day; branding on Facebook and Instagram posts; ability to run competitions on social media; or promote themselves on the official PSG website. Further details on the 2015 social media outcomes and proposed enhancements and opportunities in 2017 are provided within this prospectus. With over 80 per cent of attendees from interstate and overseas, the Accreditation Centre will be initially located at Adelaide Airport then move to the Games Village once the Games are officially underway. Number available: 10 Minimum investment: $3000 per day The 2015 PSG achieved significant hits on the live streaming of the Opening Ceremony and all sports including over 82,000 total views and almost 500,000 minutes of action viewed online. For the 2017 Games sponsors will have the opportunity to sponsor live streaming, which includes logo placement on the live stream, advertisements and banner ads throughout, commentators wearing sponsor t-shirts and signage behind commentators. Number available: Unlimited Minimum investment: $250 per ad or negotiated price for on-going campaigns Email sponsorship allows brands/businesses to promote an offering in PSG monthly email newsletters to a database of more than 5,000 athletes, officials and supporters. EDM campaigns will also be placed on the PSG website, which achieved significant results during the 2015 Games. This included over 110,000 sessions during the 10-day event and over 250,000 sessions in 2015. This would allow your organisation to reach out to more than 100,000 people.
