Upcoming Tasks and Deadlines Assign Appraisal Types in Eduphoria Send T-TESS Appraisal Agreement Form for less-than-annual teachers and obtain electronic signatures by Sept. 15 th Provide all teachers with T-TESS Appraisal Calendar by Sept. 15 th Provide a T-TESS Refresher training to all teachers Goal Setting Conference (required for new teachers and late- hires) Goals submitted by teacher to appraiser in Eduphoria STRIVE by Oct. 6 th Unpack the T-TESS Rubric with new teachers 10-15 minute Observations can be conducted any day At least one 10-15 minute Observation must be completed of new teacher by Oct. 2 nd or within their first 30 days of employment Formal Observations begin Sept. 18 th 2

Introducing STRIVE Eduphoria is eliminating the Appraise module icon on September 22, 2017 The entire Evaluation Process will now be completed through STRIVE 4
Navigating The Campus Dashboard You can select the NOTIFICATION TOOLBAR to view Goals Pending Approval or Staff with Unsubmitted Goals The SIDEBAR defaults to Campus View and will appear with the icons and descriptions if you have your browser zoom view set to 100% or less The LIST view displays your staff as shown here. NOTE: CARD view will only show a max of 30 names FILTERS allow you to narrow down your list by Appraisers and Appraisee Type 5
Notification Toolbar Goals Pending Approval This list includes any teacher with a goal status of Submitted. This will include last year s goal(s) if it is not marked as Complete/Archived. Staff with Unsubmitted Goals This list includes all staff, even those not evaluated under T-TESS. 6
Assigning Appraisee Types Appraisee Types (T-TESS Teacher, T-TESS Teacher (Exception) T-TESS Teacher (Late-Hire) are assigned based on DNA Regulation From Card View From List View 7
Goal Setting Process Overview A goal is entered and processed in the following order: If the employee selects Edit Approved Goal, the goal is resubmitted for approval and the process must follow steps 3 through 5. NOTE: An appraiser can not view a goal that is in edit mode 8
Viewing and Approving Goals Goals can be viewed and approved in the following ways: 1) Through the Notification Toolbar Goals Pending Approval 2) Through the Goals tab 3) Through the Evaluations tab See slides 15 through 18 for instructions on how teachers add, update and submit goals. 9
Approving a Goal through the Navigation Toolbar Click on the Goals Pending Approval, select a teacher you appraise, review the goal and click the Approve. 10
Approving a Goal through the Goals tab Select a teacher you appraise from the Card or List view. Under the Goals tab, select the goal with the Submitted icon, review the goal and click Approve. 11
Approving a Goal through the Evaluations tab Select a teacher you appraise from the Card or List view. Under the Evaluations tab, select the goal with a status Submitted, review the goal and click Approve. NOTE: If a goal shows up on the Goals tab, but not on the Evaluations tab, the teacher needs to attach the goal (see slide 18) 12
Assigning an Evaluation Template To assign an evaluation template, select the teacher you appraise and under the Evaluations tab select the plus sign under the appropriate task header. 13
Assigning an Evaluation Template Once an evaluation template is assigned, one of the following status will be displayed: Electronic Signature is Required signature(s) are pending Not Viewable you must select Let Staff View Electronically Signed 14
Goal Setting Process Returning Teachers Before adding his/her 2017-2018 school year goal, returning teachers will need to review and update their 2016-2017 goal, if necessary, as follows: If goal is marked Submitted and the teacher completed his/her goal, the teacher needs to ask their appraiser to Approve the goal. The teacher then must mark the goal Complete and the appraiser will Archive the goal If the goal is marked Approved and the teacher completed his/her goal, the teacher needs to mark the goal Complete and the appraiser will Archive the goal 15
Goal Setting Process Returning Teachers Continued If the goal is marked Approved (might also show Overdue) and the teacher and appraiser agreed to extend the goal into the new school year during the EOY conference, the teacher can either: 1) Edit an Approved Goal with a new target complete date and Submit for approval, OR 2) Complete the goal, appraiser will Archive the goal, teacher selects Copy to a New Goal with a new target completion date and Submit for Approval 16
Goal Setting Process Adding a New Goal There are two ways to Add New Goals in Strive: 1) Through the Goals tab (see next slide Attaching a Goal) 2) Through the Evaluations tab Goal Setting 17
Goal Setting Process Attaching a Goal If a teacher adds a Goal through the Goals tab, the goal will not automatically appear under the Evaluations tab. The teacher must Attach a Goal under the Evaluations Tab Goal Setting. 18
