Boys 7-8 ball Knowledge General Rules 1) The coach for the offensive team will run the pitching machine for his/her players. 2) Each player gets 5 pitches unless the 5th pitch is fouled off. Then the batter gets one more pitch. 3) If the batter swings three times and misses then that is defined as a strike out. 4) Five runs are permitted each inning until the last inning where 10 runs are permitted. 5) The last inning will be the next inning to start after 45 minutes of play have elapsed.
