It is returned by the spring fore from the spring in the valve. The valve an be ontrolled to the OPEN or COSED positions with the thermal atuator for unit valves XT 211. Used in ombination with the normally losed version of the atuator, the ontrol passage of the valve loses in the event of a power failure. Used as a ontrol valve Used as a distribution valve The valve an be ontrolled to any desired position with the ontinuous atuator for unit valves XS 215S. Depending on the position of the DIP swithes, the valve is adjusted ontinuously with a ontrol voltage of 0...10 V / 10...0 V or 2...10 V / 10...2 V. The ontrol signal is then assigned linearly to the valve stroke and produes the equal-perentage harateristi in the valve. The positioner integrated into the atuator ontrols the atuator aording to the setting of the DIP swithes and positioning signal y. The ontinuous atuator positions the valve and, as soon as the position is reahed, it stops. The valve an be ontrolled to any desired position with the motorised atuator for unit valves XM 217. With type XM 217S (with positioner) the valve is ontinuously adjusted using a 0...10 V or 4-20 m ontrol signal, aording to the position of the DIP swithes. The kvs values in the by-pass are redued by approx. % ompared to the kvs values of the ontrol passage. This takes into aount the flow rate resistane of the onsumer, so that the total flow rate remains as onstant as possible in every stroke position. The pratially equal-perentage harateristi in the ontrol passage allows optimal ontrol together with a ontinuous 0...10 V atuator. Intended use This produt is only suitable for the purpose intended by the manufaturer, as desribed in the Desription of operation setion. ll related produt douments must also be adhered to. Changing or onverting the produt is not admissible. Engineering and fitting notes The ontrol unit an be fitted in any desired position, but not in a suspended fitting position. Condensate, dripping water, et. must be prevented from entering the atuator. To prevent any flow noise from being audible in very quiet rooms, the pressure differene over the valve must not exeed the following values: BU010F* = 0.5 bar, F*20 = 0.6 bar / F*10 and F*00 = 0.8 bar BU015F*10 = 0.6 bar, F*00 = 0.8 bar BU020F*00 = 0.5 bar So that impurities are retained in the water (welding beads, rust partiles, et.) and the spindle seal is not damaged, we reommend installing olleting filters, for example one for eah floor or pipe run. Requirements for water quality as per VDI 2035. Medium with oolant suh as glyol, min. 16%, max. %. To prevent damage resulting from non-usage, the valves should be ativated for a short time at regular intervals. We reommend performing a stroke movement of at least 10% every month. d Produt data sheet 55.009 To inrease the funtional reliability of the valves, the system should onform to DIN/EN 14336 (heating systems in buildings). DIN EN 14336 states, amongst other things, that the system has to be flushed through before being put into servie. When insulating the unit valve, it may only be insulated up to the ap nut or the bayonet ring of the atuator.
