t h e sundaze family The Sundaze family consists of carefully handshaped tabletops that connect with crafted wood through the use of magnets. These tabletops share their build-up and materials with the ones used in the surfboard industry - foam, fiberglass and epoxy resin. This means that they receive a unique feel, high quality finish and lightness. Within the production process and our design principles, customisation is possible, encouraged and realised in collaboration with each individual customer. the sidetable A playful object The sidetable is the firstborn of the Sundaze family. Big enough to consider itself a table, yet small enough to be carried around by hand. This little chap fits in every room of yours. On top of that, you can take this piece of furniture apart - thanks to the magnetic connection - to brighten up your walls with it as a frame for art. the dining table the intermediary The dining table serves as the parent within the Sundaze family. It organizes the most important people in your life or at work and offers enough space to share food, exchange thoughts and work. the atelier table the host The atelier table is the biggest addition to the Sundaze family so far and a phenomenon. It handles its dimensions with grace. Where other tables this size can look huge and heavy, this table seems to elevate. If you have ever seen Gerry Lopez surf big waves at Pipeline, you know what we mean - timeless style combined with dynamic lines. The host seats up to eight people with ease and is therefore the perfect facilitator for bigger collaborations and get-togethers with family and friends. workshop in tuscany, italy In the picturesque landscapes of Tuscany, Italy, our master carpenter Emmanuele has his own partly open-air workshop inside a medieval villa right between grape vines and sunny hills. It is here where our beautiful wooden legs are handcrafted and finished the old-fashioned way. Our personal connection to Emmanuele and his hometown makes this relationship a very special one (not only because of the spaghetti vongole, the great wine and despite the language barriers). Studio Sundaze only uses locally sourced and sustainably grown timbers. 42 43

To ensure an easy handling of our tables while keeping maximum stability, the wooden legs as well as the tabletops are fitted with magnets. This unique system means that disconnecting and relocating becomes as smooth as longboard surfing and in special cases even offers the possibility to hang the tabletops against magnetic pieces or walls. magnetism 48 49
