JW BASKETBALL INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY TRAINERS JASON WRIGHT CLIFTON BAKER BRIAN BRENNAN BOB WILLET Jason Wright is recognized as one of the finest basketball trainers in the United States. He brings discipline, creativity, and dedication to student athletes. His students are some of the most fundamentally sound AAU, high school, collegiate, and professional basketball players in the world. Jason has trained players from 40 different countries from youth to professional players. As a former Division 1 student athlete at the University of New Orleans, Jason earned the respect of his peers through his intense work ethic and hard-nosed approach to the game. He has competed against such NBA greats as Derek Fisher, Allen Iverson, and Jason Kidd. He s played professionally overseas in Europe, and was a successful walk-on at the Seattle Supersonics training camp before seriously injuring his achilles tendon. In 2001, he formed JW Basketball and has become Southern California s premier basketball trainer. Clif played for San Gabriel Academy in high school, holding the records for both single season and career assists and steals. He went on to play at Citrus Community College before transferring to Alabama A&M. Clif became a coach and trainer after a career-ending auto accident. Clif has been coaching and training for 11 years, with various high schools (top 15 in the country) and colleges, such as La Sierra University, UCLA, and UC Riverside, and professional players. He has also worked with the WNBA, the Clippers, Nike basketball, & various camps (such as CP3, Nike Academy, Ball is Life, & Steph Curry). Cliff is an AAU coach and head of skills training for Nike West Coast Premier, the top Nike girls program in the nation. Cliff has a BS in Physics as well as Exercise Science. He also holds the following certifications: CSCS, USA- W, FMS, and ACSM. Brian is the lead clinician for JW Basketball. He has coached at the USC s men s elite camp as well as Orange County s elite camps. Brian is a graduate of Loara High School in Anaheim, California, and is in the top 10 all time leader board in career assist and career steals. He represented his high school as a senior in both the Orange County allstar game and the LA vs Orange County all-star games. He also played at Cypress College and then briefly at Regis University before returning home to begin his coaching/training career with a masters degree in education with a credential in special education. Brian has worked with several west coast colleges, and high schools conducting skill development programs and offensive principals. While he was the Assistant Coach at Cypress College, they had the top 10 scoring offense in the state. He has also coached for the Fullerton Men s program and was in charge of player development. Bob played high school ball in Edmonton, Canada with Archbishop O Leary Spartans, taking MVP honors his senior year. After playing a summer with the Provincial Team, he went on to play with N.A.I.T. College where he was instrumental in helping the Ooks win their first National Championship in 1988-89. Bob has been training and coaching for 16 years. Before moving to the US, Bob spent 5 years coaching and training with the top program in Canada called CYDC (Calgary Youth Development Center), where they developed a number of players that have gone on to play college basketball in Canada and the United States. Bob is currently working with elementary school, middle school, high school and college players to help them meet and exceed their basketball goals. With a focus on athleticism, ball handling, offensive & defensive footwork and scoring. Bob s training is for players that want to be top scorers and defenders in the game that he loves so dearly. 8

JW BASKETBALL INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY - ACADEMIC PARTNERS ANAHEIM DISCOVERY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL Anaheim Discovery Christian School was founded in 1985 by our founder Mrs. Carol Caltharp. She worked hard to accomplish what she believed that every child should receive a Christian education. Upon her retirement in 2009, the torch was passed to Rev. Dr. Victor Chayasirisobhon who took the school to new heights with its newly established international student program. Rev. Dr. Victor Chayasirisobhon s goal was to make it one of the top schools in academics in the United States. His students continue to accomplish this goal. Dr. Chayasirisobhon states, It s incredible how well our students are doing. We get better and better every year. With 100% of our students who applied to four year universities getting accepted and being able to remain at the low tuitions we have, we are impressed and blessed by what God is doing. Anaheim Discovery Christian School continues to add the highest academic classes to it s curriculum. We have classes that prepare you to take the AP examinations, the highest maths up through Calculus, the highest sciences (our Biology class is being taught by a medical doctor, chemistry, physics, college level Biology, Chemistry and Physics), Tiered ESL Program (which can teach a students from very limited English to the point of successful college English), Art, Graphic Arts, and of course our Bible coursework opens the minds of students of all backgrounds and is taught by pastors in the Christian faith. ST. PAUL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL St. Paul High School provides a challenging, coeducational, collegepreparatory education in the Catholic tradition. We promote and nurture students talents, moral development, spiritual growth, and self-discipline. As a family, we challenge students to grow in their knowledge and love of God, to strive for academic, artistic, and athletic excellence, and to work toward building a more just society. In keeping with this tradition, the Gospel and the teachings of the Church guide curriculum, programs, and activities. Students are challenged to pursue academic success by utilizing their talents and abilities. Realizing that society is ever-changing, we are committed to developing the character and skills which will help students actively participate in today s world. As Jesus encouraged the disciples to be one in Spirit, we strive to build community. The St. Paul Family values mutual concern for one another in a spirit of collaboration and an awareness of our obligation to be responsible citizens. As Christians, we are conscious of our mission to work toward social justice, academic excellence, spiritual growth, athletic success, and artistic development. We encourage our students to demonstrate integrity and honesty in their daily lives, to be considerate of individual rights and properties, and to have respect for all. Acknowledging that parents are the primary educators of their children, we collaborate in building a stronger sense of community and support one another in the nurturing of the spiritual and academic growth of our students. 9
