It is the club / coach and/or swimmer s responsibility to pay this fine to the Chief Referee no later than hour prior to the beginning of the competition. Failure to do so shall result in disqualification. There are NO refunds after the registration deadline unless a written request or medical certificate is submitted to the Executive Director. The request may be submitted any time prior to the event the athlete is competing in. Note: Documents must be submitted as soon as possible. Clubs may send an email with the music or send a CD with all of their music. The CD must be labeled with the club name and must include a printed listing of all files on the CD. In the event of a music failure during competition, the club must immediately provide a backup in the required format. Failure to provide a working copy will result in a $50 fine. If the fine is not paid immediately after the event, a one-point penalty will be applied. The Chief Referee shall instruct the scorer to deduct the penalty. There must be one digital file for each registered routine in one of the two following formats: MP3 files with a.mp3 file extension (preferred) Windows Media Audio (WMA) files with a.wma file extension It is suggested there is a 3-5 second lead from play until the music starts. Music Fines A fine of $25.00 per routine will be assessed for each late submission. A fine of $25.00 per routine will be assessed for each file submitted in the wrong digital format. A fine of $25.00 per routine will be assessed for each file submitted with the wrong file naming format. Routine Elements Provincial Stream - required elements are waived for the 2016-2017 season. National Stream Senior Technical Routines have required elements. Masters Technical routines have required elements. Volunteers Each club is requested to provide at least one on-deck volunteer per age group that your club is registered for. Register online through Volunteer Spot. Awards Open Pool Results Photography Facility Food Services Accommodations Awards recognize our athlete s achievements. The awards ceremony is time of celebration. Athletes preparing for upcoming events don t have time to celebrate - yet. They are still in competition mode. That means only specific awards can be presented during the competition. The final schedule will state when each award will be presented. Only the awards listed for each time will be presented at that time. If the awards are not ready at the time indicated during the competition, they will be presented at the end of the competition. TBA depending on the schedule. Results will be emailed to the Club contact and/or Head Coach and posted on the Synchro Saskatchewan website www.synchrosask.com. All athletes, coaches and officials may be filmed or photographed during the competition. The videos and photos may be used without permission or authorization of individuals, parents or clubs. A facility schematic is available upon request. Clubs are responsible to ensure the locker rooms and pool deck are clean after use. Clubs are now permitted to bring in their own food as the Shaw Centre no longer has a canteen. Saskatoon Aqualenes are investigating providing meal and snack options as a club fund-raiser. Donations Family and friends can support synchronized swimming in Saskatchewan through two separate programs Sports Legacy Fund and Planned Giving. Sask Sport Inc. is pleased to be a partner in the National Sport Trust Fund initiative as a member of the Canadian Council of Provincial and Territorial Sport Federations. This initiative permits Synchro Sask to establish revenue generation programs for which a charitable tax receipt can be provided for qualifying donations.
