Zach: I m doing well. Zach and Naomi look in the basket. Naomi: Okay, what is this? Zach: This is cool, I think we got a challenge. Naomi: Very cute, let s check this out. Naomi takes the red Target envelope out of basket and opens it, pulling out a white card and reading, as Zach looks on: Naomi: So here s the deal, we know a crew of kids who want to celebrate Easter in an epic way and we need your help making it happen. The challenge is to put together five Easter baskets and the coolest, most magical celebration using their drawings as inspiration. Naomi: Let s go. Zach: That s really cool. Naomi: So where are the drawings? Zach: I think they re in this Easter egg.
Zach takes the yellow Easter egg out of the basket and opens it to find white shredded paper inside. Zach magically turns the shredded paper into children s drawings. Naomi: Oh my gosh. Zach: Wow, look at these drawings. Zach and Naomi flip through the drawings, stopping on a drawing of a family of purple bunnies. Naomi: How cute are these? Is that an Easter bunny family? Zach: That s a whole family right there getting ready for Easter. Zach: Cool, so we re gonna make baskets based on these drawings. ON SCREEN TEXT: Easter Challenge, TargetStyle. Zach and Naomi enter from the right, rounding the corner of the Easter aisle in a Target store, pushing a red Target shopping cart as the white text flips and changes to: ON SCREEN TEXT: Happy Together, TargetStyle. Naomi: So it looks like these kids really love their bunnies. Zach: The Peeps aisle! Zach points excitedly at the Peeps. Naomi: Perfect, let s get them some Peeps. Zach: Let s get them a lot of Peeps! Zach grabs a package of Peeps and throws them into the cart. He then grabs a blue Peeps stuffed toy and runs into the center of the aisle. Zach: Stand back! Naomi: Oh my gosh, what s happening? Zach throws the blue Peeps stuffed toy into the air and it turns into many packages of blue Peeps, which cascade into the shopping cart behind him.
Zach: Tah dah! Naomi: That is a lot of Peeps. Zach: They are gonna love that. Naomi: Okay let s get some baskets. Zach and Naomi continue down the aisle. Naomi puts the drawings down in the cart, points to and selects pink, yellow and blue gingham-wrapped wicker baskets. Zach piles up Lindt Easter bunnies in his arms and carries them over to the cart. Naomi tries an Easter basket on as a hat. Zach fills his arms with bags of Reese s Easter candies. Zach: These kids love color, so Naomi: Should we come up with a color palette? Zach: Yeah, you re in charge of that. Naomi: Let s do every color possible. They both grab multiple different colored tablecloths, large and small Easter eggs, Paas egg dye kits and throw them in the cart. Naomi: Zach I think the kids are going to love this. Zach: Yeah, we got enough for everybody. Naomi: So exciting. Zach and Naomi head out of the Easter aisle pushing the full cart and high five again. As they exit the store pushing the full red Target cart, Zach jumps in the air, fist pumping, as Naomi swings full Target shopping bags. Zach: Whoo! Zach and Naomi are now in a garden surrounded by greenery with a table in front of them covered in all the Easter goodies they have just bought. They are inspecting the drawings. They look at one of a bunny and eggs in a purple basket. Zach: Stuffed bunny? Naomi: I think this is a golden egg and a chocolate egg and I have golden eggs. Zach hands Naomi a golden egg from a basket. Naomi: So, golden egg, and I kind of want this for me.
Naomi grabs a golden bunny purse and puts it over her shoulder. Zach: I m even going to decorate the basket with a few of these. Naomi: That s darling. Zach opens a package of yellow Peeps and decorates baskets with them, also stuffing one in his mouth. Zach: This will be one for me. Naomi: As a mom of three little ones myself, some healthier snacks are always really nice. Naomi picks up purple Annie s bunnies packs and puts them in her basket. Zach: Let s give it some personality. Zach puts googly eyes and a smiling mouth on his green basket. Zach: You know you want this basket. Zach sprinkles loose candy into his basket. Naomi: I know, the loose candy is actually quite a nice touch. I might steal that for my kids Easter baskets this year. Just a little sprinkle, sprinkle. Naomi takes some candy out of Zach s basket and sprinkles it on hers. Then they both grab handfuls of loose candy and their hands are shown sprinkling them over all the baskets. Naomi: Okay! Zach: This looks awesome. Naomi: Yeah! Zach and Naomi high five again and then Zach points behind him. Zach: Yard? Naomi: Let s go decorate! Zach: Party time!
Zach and Naomi head back towards the yard. Naomi: Zach, this looks amazing. Zach and Naomi walk towards a picnic table covered in Easter candy in glass jars and on cake stands, a large bowl of red punch with a ladle, and Easter baskets full of eggs, all under pastel balloons and streamers. Zach is carrying one pink and one turquoise egg. Naomi is carrying a plate of cupcakes, pink flowers and green shredded paper. They place the eggs and cupcakes on the table. Naomi: Do you know what I realized, Zach? I actually need a few more mini eggs for on top of these cupcakes. Zach: Oh, I totally got you. Zach picks up a golden egg from a glass bowl on the front of the table and throws it into the air where it turns into Mini Eggs, which fall back into the glass bowl. Zach: Tah dah! Naomi: Oh my gosh, perfect! That was amazing! Naomi takes the glass bowl of Mini Eggs and they both place some on each cupcake. Naomi: Looking good. Zach takes different colored balloons weighted down by eggs and places them around the yard. Zach and Naomi string up bright letters saying Happy Easter. Zach walks into shot with a pink-maned unicorn over his shoulder, raises his eyebrows at the camera. Zach (left) and Naomi (right) walk towards each other carrying white lawn chairs and place them under the Happy Easter sign. Naomi: Everything s set, just missing the kids. Zach and Naomi stand on the lawn behind fluffy, white rugs covered with Easter baskets and wagons filled with bunnies, eggs, and toys. Behind them there is a teepee, the unicorn, a small table and chairs, and balloons. (Children cheering)
Three girls and two boys run in wearing pastels. One girl is wearing fairy wings. Another is wearing a pink sweatshirt with white polka dots and a headband with ears sticking up. The other is wearing a striped shirt. One boy is wearing a gingham shirt and the other a green shirt. They run around the yard and the girl in the pink sweatshirt plays with balloons as a yellow lab puppy appears from around the teepee and unicorn. The kids gather in front of Zach and Naomi and the baskets on the white rugs. Naomi is holding the drawings. Zach: Do you guys remember these drawings? Kids: Yes. The kids look excited and amazed. Naomi: So we took this challenge and we tried to create Easter baskets for each of you, based on your beautiful drawings. Close-up of the girl in the striped shirt, eyes wide with excitement. Zach: You drew a really cool picture so we wanted to give you this basket that we made. Happy Easter! Zach hands a blue wagon Easter basket to the boy in the green shirt. The other little boy in the gingham shirt holds Zach s green basket with googly eyes stuffed with candy. Zach: It s so heavy because it s so full of Easter candy. Kids: Whoa. Naomi: Do you guys know what these things are? Do you like these candies? The girl in the striped shirt opens a golden egg full of Mini Eggs and nods. (Kids giggling) Zach: How s that? The girl in the pink polka dot sweatshirt and bunny ears puts on heart-shaped pink glasses as Zach holds up paper cut-out glasses on a stick to his eyes. The girl in the
striped shirt smiles and opens a pink egg. The two boys and the girl in the pink sweater run around with three lab puppies in front of the teepee and the unicorn. Zach: Can you handle another surprise? The two boys are sitting on the grass nodding. Zach puts a blanket over one of the lab puppies wearing bunny ears. He pulls it away to reveal a live brown bunny. Zach: Tah dah! (Children cheering) The boys and the girl wearing fairy wings clap and smile. Zach holds up the bunny so they can all pet it. Naomi holds up the plate of Mini Egg cupcakes to the girl in the striped shirt, who smiles and takes one. Naomi: This challenge was definitely an unexpected, but creative way to celebrate Easter. The girl in fairy wings takes a blueberry and watermelon kebab from a blue polka dot plate from the table. The girl in the pink sweater bites into an egg candy. All the children and Zach and Naomi stand again behind the picnic table with the punch bowl and Easter candies, below balloons and streamers and throw their arms in the air, smiling.
