RACE FORMAT: 3-in-1 This Race Format will allow athletes to do the same course in 3 separate races but in 3 different formats. Race 1 will follow the Run Bike Swim format. Everyone has 30min to finish the course and then Race 2 will start. If you have no completed the course within 30 min, you may not start Race 2 and will have to wait for Race 3. So the sooner you finish the more time you have to rest before the start of Race 2. Race 2 will follow the format Bike Swim Run but start with a short run to spread the field out before entering transition. Once again you will have 30min to finish this race. The final race of the day will be a Swim Bike Run where swimmers will start in intervals of 5 seconds and then complete the course within 30min. If you do not complete any of the races within 30min you will not receive a result for that race. Overall rankings will be worked out by adding your time from all 3 races and the person with the lowest combined time will be the overall winner. If you only completed 2 races, rankings will be worked out in the same way with the lowest combined time will be added after the last person who completed all 3 races. The same will apply for those who only finish 1 race, the lowest time will be added to after the last person who completed 2 races. SST TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP ranking points will then be awarded to the overall finish rankings.
