Event Participation Waiver must be completed as part of the on-line registration. RACE ENTRY DEADLINE: LICENCES: Entry deadline is: Monday, January 7 th, 2013 AT MIDNIGHT PST LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED up until Wednesday, January 9 th Noon PST and will be subject to a $20 per race late entry fee. Also, late registrations will not be seeded. Please contact the Competition Secretary for more information. All competitors skiing in Juvenile, Junior, Open and Masters categories must have at least one of the following licences: CCC Racing Licence FIS Licence Other National Ski Licence CCC Supporting Day Member Licence (Note: can be ordered as part of the on-line registration at a cost of $5.00 per race day) 1 2013 Teck BC Cup2 hosted by Telemark (Ver 1.3)

Competitors in MIDGET AND YOUNGER classes do not need a licence to compete but must be members in good standing of a CCC club. If they are not CCC club members, participants must pay $5.00 to join the hosting club, Telemark Nordic Club, in order to enter in this competition. Names of new club members will be registered with CCBC to meet the insurance requirements. SEEDING: Competitors in the Senior Men and Junior Men categories and those in the Senior Women and Junior Women will be combined for seeding purposes and will compete as a single Open competition. The categories will be separated into Open and Junior for results and awards/prizes. The current Canada Points List (CPL) for both distance and sprint competitions will be used. There will be no seeding for categories that do not require a racing licence (e.g., Midgets). Order of start will be by random draw. REFUNDS: RACE FORMATS: Refunds will only be issued for those competitors who withdraw from the race prior to the race entry deadline of January 7 th at midnight. Please see competition schedule for race formats, distances, categories and fees. Classic Sprints: The start order for the qualifying time trial for Juvenile and older categories will be based on distance CPL where the skier with the best points starts last. The start order for Midget and younger categories will be by random draw. The Sprint Competition will consist of a qualification time trial of all skiers in each category followed by Sprint Heats where all finishers in the qualifying time trial will advance to the first round of heats (i.e., quarterfinal heats). Categories will be combined for heats. For example, Midget Boys I and 2 will be combined and ski together as one Midget Boys sprint heat. Based on historically low registration number for Masters in the Sprint event, this year, as a trial, we are offering all Masters categories an alternative to Sprints. Scheduled instead are short distance courses, Men skiing 5.0 km and Women skiing 3.5 km. Skiers will start during the same race as the Sprint time trial. Masters skiers are welcome to register in and ski in the Open Sprint category if they choose. Individual Start Free Technique: The start order for Juvenile and older categories will be based on distance CPL where the skier with the best points starts last. The start order for Midget and younger categories will be by random draw. START LISTS: RACE OFFICE: BIB PICK-UP: AWARDS: CONCESSION: Start lists for each day of racing will be posted at the Telemark Chalet and available on-line at www.zone4.ca. The event race office will be in the downstairs of the Telemark Chalet. Hours are as follows: Friday afternoon, Saturday & Sunday.
