ALL HORSES AND PONIES SHOULD BE WELL HANDLED AND BE ABLE TO TROT IN HAND ON A TRIANGLE ASSESSORS: MISS LYNDA LODGE MRS LESLIE BRADFIELD SCORING SYSTEM RED PREFERRED SCORE OF 71% + THOSE ACHIEVING THIS STATUS WILL BE AWARDED 1% TO BE ADDED TO THEIR GRADING SCORE IF THEY SUCCESSFULLY GRADE WITH BSPA. BLUE PREFERRED FOR THOSE SCORING 65% - 70% WHITE CERTIFIED FOR THOSE SCORING 65% OR LESS Section A. Skewbald and Piebald plaited Horse. Exhibits exceeding or calculated to exceed 153cm at maturity. To be Judged in three categories yearling, two year old, three year old. Colts and Fillies only. Section B. Skewbald and Piebald Native/Traditional/Cob. Exhibits exceeding 153cms or calculated to exceed 153cm at maturity. To be Judged in three categories yearling, two year old, three year old. Colts and Fillies only. Section C. Skewbald and Piebald plaited pony not exceeding 153cm. To be Judged in three categories yearling, two year old, three year old. Colts and Fillies only Section D Skewbald and Piebald Native/Traditional/Cob not to exceed 153cm at maturity. To be Judged in three categories yearling, two year old, three year old. Colts and Fillies only A CHAMPION ROSETTE WILL BE AWARDED ON THE DAY SCORE SHEETS MAY AVAILABLE ON THE DAY IF NOT WILL BE POSTED ROSETTES WILL BE AWARDED ON THE DAY 4

RULES Classes will be Judged within the rules and criteria of the B.S.P.A, copies can be obtained from them. Please note that you do not have to be a member to compete but you must hold a current membership/horse registration to qualify for the Summer Championships. Rule Book can be downloaded from www.bspaonline.com 1 st 3 rd or three highest placedin open classes to qualify. All Qualification cards MUST be signed in the ring by the class judge in order to be valid. THE FOLLOWING CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE ONLY OPEN TO BSPA 2015 MEMBERS WITH BSPA REGISTERED HORSES AND PONIES AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP Two highest placed Amateurs will qualify for the BSPA Indian Trail Amateur Championship. The final to be held at BSPA World of Colour Championship Show 23 rd August The College EC Keysoe Beds.( BSPA Membership /Amateur cards must be carried into the ring) JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP Two highest placed Juniors will qualify for the BSPA Colosso Junior Championship. The final to be held at BSPA World of Colour Championship Show 23 rd August The College EC Keysoe Beds. (Junior membership cards must be carried into the ring) HOME PRODUCED CHAMPIONSHIP Two highest placed BSPA members in the Home Produced classes inhand and ridden will qualify for the Sizmer Home Produced Championship. The Final to be held AT BSPA World of Colour Championship Show 23 rd August 2015 Prize money at finals Champion 150 Reserve Champion 75 + sashes and rosettes The Brightwells Auctioneers Skewbald and Piebald Sports Horse and Pony In Hand National Championship Qualifier. These classes are for athletic Horses and Ponies that have the conformation and movement to compete in Dressage, Show jumping or Eventing and that have a verified/proven parentage passport, breeding must be indicated on the entry form. The three highest places in each class to qualify for the final to be held at the British Skewbald and Piebald Association World Championships of Colour September 2016 At the final the Champion will receive 40 the Reserve 20 Each Horse/Pony is to be judged individually on a triangle and also walked and trotted round the ring as a class. Marks will be awarded for confirmation, walk, trot and overall impression. Handlers, Owners and Horses/Ponies must be members of the BSPA for qualification to remain valid. Classes 18-24 These classes are affiliated to the British Skewbald and Piebald Association and are qualifiers for the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead on Tuesday 26 th July 2016. These classes will be judged under BSPA rules, copies of which can downloaded from www.bspaonline.com. All horses/ponies must be registered with and owners & riders members of BSPA prior to the show. Rider age is taken as 1 st Jan. All stallions must be graded and licensed by BSPA and have a BSPA Stallion ID card AND WEAR BSPA BLUE Graded Stallion ID Disc. No rider under 14yrs may exhibit a stallion in any class. Membership and Qualification cards MUST be carried in the ring by competitors and produced as required for inspection and signature. Failure to do so will disqualify any competitor and their qualification handed down to the next unqualified competitor. Spurs may not be worn in any pony class. Ponies 153cms or under must posses a current JMB height certificate. Qualification: 1 st place and the highest next unqualified competitor standing 2 nd or 3 rd qualify from each class. No competitor may qualify from lower than 3 rd place. 1. Competitors and spectators attend the show at their own risk. The organisers will not be held responsible 2. for any accident, damage, loss or injury to any person, animal or property whatsoever. 3. The judge s decision is FINAL. 4. No entries to be refunded. 5. No lunging in the collecting ring. 6. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without explanation. 7. Any horse, pony, handler or rider behaving in any way that poses a risk to itself or others will be asked to leave. 8. All colts/stallions must be bitted. NO EXCEPTIONS, STALLIONS 4 YEARS AND OVER MUST BE GRADED WITH BSPA AND CARRY A BSPA RED STALLION ID CARD AND WEAR BSPA GRADED STALLION DISC 9. Horses/ponies in ridden classes must be 4 years old and over unless otherwise stated in the schedule 10. Horse/ponies ages are from 1 January 11. NEW ADVANCE INFORMATION STARTING 1/1/2015 ALL RIDERS WHEN MOUNTED MUST WEAR CORRECTLY SECURED BRITISH STANDARD RIDING HATS WITH 3-POINT PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR WHICH COMPLIES TO EN1384. PAS015 OR PAS ACCREDITED. THIS APPLIES TO RIDERS OF ALL AGES. Skewbald/Piebald colts/stallions aged 4yrs and over must be licensed or graded with the B.S.P.A to go in showing classes. No rider or handler under 14yrs may exhibit a colt/stallion. ALL STALLIONS MUST CARRY A RED BSPA STALLION ID CARD AND WEAR A BSPA GRADED STALLION ID DISC WHEN COMPETING. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL MEAN DISQUALIFICATION. 13. Owners/Handlers/Riders/Horses must be members/registered with B.S.P.A to qualify. Grooms must be correctly turnout. NO JEANS PERMITTED. 14. Spurs must not be worn in any Ridden Pony class. 15. Dressage whips are forbidden and all whips must be under 30 inches 16. No mucking out into the car park 17. No smoking in arena 18. No dogs except in horsebox area 19.
