RULES AND REGULATIONS The event will be organized under the following FIG and Region 5 Confederation rules valid in the year of the event, except for any deviation mentioned in this invitation - FIG Code of Points Tumbling - General Judges Rules - Specific Judges' Rules - Doping Control Rules - Media Rules - Apparatus Norms - Advertising and Publicity Rules Any other regulations that may be in place by the specific country Olympic Committee/Macro Organization and the Region 5 U20 Games LOC/ROC FEDERATIONS INVITED All AUSC Region 5 Member Federations PARTICIPATION Gymnasts in good standing with their National Federation that fall within the correct age band entered on the official Region 5 U20 Games entry form The maximum size of the invited delegation is as per information enclosed below :- Male tumbling team = 4 max Female tumbling team = 4 max Coaches = 2 max ( 1 per team) Technical officials (judge) = 1 per federation (Head judge appointed by Region 5) Manager = 1 Total = 12 AGE LIMITS The ages are in the year of the competition (age as at 31 December 2016) No younger than 14 and no older than 19 REGISTRATION DEADLINES Please note that the LOC/ROC will handle the registration of athletes for all codes of sport via national federations and macro sports organizations (typically National Olympic Committee) however it would be appreciated if the National Federations could indicate their participation as follows for logistical reasons Acknowledgement of receipt of this document 18 March 2016 Provisional Entries(indication by number) 1 September 2016 Nominative Entries(by number) 1 October 2016 Definitive Entries(by name) - 1 November 2016 2
ENTRY FEES As per arrangement with LOC/ROC and the member countries macro bodies EVENT FORMAT The Competition will comprise of the following (male & female separate) Team competition max 4 up 3 scores to count total of both passes of each gymnast used to calculate the team score The above competition will also serve as qualification for individual finals max 2 per country Individual competition max 8 participants total of 2 passes added together TECHNICAL RULES The score is determined by adding the execution and difficulty marks together as per FIG rules All passes must be performed as follows Two voluntary passes without repetition of skill from either pass with the exception of whips and flics. 1 st pass 5 elements at least 2 saltos 2 nd pass 8 elements at least 3 saltos EQUIPMENT International specification rod floor will be provided with supplementary mat for safety and training - 26 meter rod floor - 6m x 4m landing area - 11m run up - 4m x 2m supplementary landing mat and a stop mat - 1 FIG springboard (hard) will be supplied Supplier = Acrosport /Gymnova/Speith (TBA) PROVISIONAL SCHEDULE 9 December - Arrival of Delegations limited training as venue will be shared with Judo 14 December - Scheduled Training - Female teams & individuals morning - Male teams & individuals afternoon - Compulsory judges briefing 15 December Team Competition & individual qualification - Female morning - Male afternoon 16 December - Individual Finals - Female morning - Male morning/afternoon 17 December - Closing ceremony 3

All participating countries are responsible for making their own arrangements to have the necessary valid insurance coverage against illness, accidents and for repatriation for all the members of their Delegation. INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT Responsibility of the participating nation LOCAL TRANSPORT Local transportation will be arranged by the LOC/ROC for the purpose of training and competition between the athletes village and technical officials accommodation and the competition venue ACCOMMODATION Technical officials TBA Athletes Angola Police Academy JUDGES - TECHNICAL OFFICIALS The principal of the competition is that every team would bring their own judge thus allowing the host Federation to provide full and diverse panel the cost and logistics of transporting the judge to Angola rest with the country and/or the participating national federation (as the arrangement may be for each country) The local transport, accommodation, meals and allowance during the days of the competition will be provided by the LOC. COMPULSORY judges briefing will be held on 16 December under the direction of the appointed head judge 4
