Gord Roney and Drew Braid had Hole In Ones in October. Gord holed out in the thick fog at Hole #2 in the MISGA wrap up, while Drew aced the Gully hole in the Mens Club wind up.

Recent times have seen Flightscope and Trackman play a larger and larger part in PGA tour players technique development. We're ending the bending! Keep on making those putts! No Chicken Wing = Greater Success Recently I have had a series of lessons where my students left arm has folded before and at impact, with the distance between their left and right elbows increasing. Chicken winging. It's never good and usually results in topped shots.
In a right handers swing, the chicken wing can occur when the golfer is slow with his/her body weight shift and rotation in the downswing, and instead, attempts to create speed with the right arm. We usually see the golfer 'cast' the club in the same move. If you would like to strike the ball better, do the following (right handers): a) End your back swing when your shoulders can't tilt/turn any further. Keep your left arm straight. (Your back swing may feel shorter as a result). b) Begin your downswing with your left knee, thigh, hip shifting your weight towards the target. Leave your club behind.
c) Pull the butt end of the grip down towards the golf ball, keeping your left arm straight and your right arm folded with the right elbow tight against your body.
