TENNESSEE 4-H CONGRESS PRESS RELEASE The 4-H Youth Development Department has created a press release for you to use in your local newspaper to announce your county delegates trip to Tennessee 4-H Congress. The press release is a general overview of the purpose of Congress and the activities and events the delegates will participate in at Congress. The press release can be found here: Press Release Please read the document carefully as blank spaces have been provided, such as county and delegate names, in order to personalize the press release to better reflect your county delegation's experiences. This is a Word document. Simply delete the lines and type in the appropriate names. Please note, if you have delegates that are competing, running for office, etc., you are encouraged to expand the next to the last paragraph to announce those accomplishments. You are also encouraged to work with your 4-H Congress county reporters on this project. An Extension Specialist will be working with these delegates at Tennessee 4-H Congress to teach them how to write articles and deliver public addresses regarding their Congress experience. Incorporating their personal experiences from this premiere event would be an appropriate and more meaningful addition to the press release. Please let me know if you have any questions.
