Conditions are monitored during the rides and if they become unsafe, the ride is terminated and transport back to campus will be arranged. Members are reminded to come prepared for the weather conditions through dressing appropriately and bringing sufficient amounts of food and water for the ride. ensuring they are prepared for the conditions. For those with less experience of riding in a group or around traffic, the club offers shorter rides at a slower pace to promote bike handling and skill development. Club Cycle Rides Equipment Cyclists For their safety, only members equipped with an approved cycling safety helmet of ANSI Z90.4, SNELL B90, EN 1078 or an equivalent national standard along with a fully functioning and serviced bike are permitted to attend the club rides. Swimming Weather Swimmers When open water swimming, swimmers only enter the water when deemed safe to do so, seeking advice from lifeguards or facility staff where appropriate. If the conditions become unsafe, swimmers exit the water as quickly as is safely possible. Running Weather Runners Running Coordinator checks the weather before the run ensuring swimming competence before attending club sessions. Swimming Coaches or Swimming Coordinator responsible for vetting new swimmers to assess swimming ability. Swimmers Nancy Walker

Through our sponsorship with HIGH5, we provide all club members with a water bottle. Any faulty spin bikes are reported to Warwick Sport for Members Nancy Walker responsible for vetting members to assign training sessions of appropriate difficulty.
