For those with less experience of riding in a group or around traffic, the club offers shorter rides at a slower pace to promote bike handling and skill development. Club Cycle Rides Equipment Cyclists For their safety, only members equipped with an approved cycling safety helmet of ANSI Z90.4, SNELL B90, EN 1078 or an equivalent national standard along with a fully functioning and serviced bike are permitted to attend the club rides. Swimming Weather Swimmers When open water swimming, swimmers only enter the water when deemed safe to do so, seeking advice from lifeguards or facility staff where appropriate. If the conditions become unsafe, swimmers exit the water as quickly as is safely possible. Running Weather Runners Running Coordinator checks the weather before the run ensuring swimming competence before attending club sessions.
