CAMP Overview Stryx Sports has an extensive experience organizing FCBEscola Camps for FCBEscola Dubai teams in Barcelona, Spain over the past 7 years and this season for the first time ever we are planning on running a special camp in Barcelona for players from FCBCamp Amman players and beyond in the following age groups: U10, U12, U14 and U15 where players will be presented with a unique opportunity to learn first hand the FC Barcelona methodology and values in what will surely be an unforgettable experience. CAMP DESCRIPTION This year FC Barcelona and Stryx Sports will be offering a rewarding experience to the FCBEscola Camp Amman participants with a chance to be associated with an official FCB project on international level. The FCBEscola Camp in Barcelona offers players the opportunity to enjoy a 100% Barça experience by following the most successful training methodology and by learning football skills and tactics in accordance with the same methods that are used with the FC Barcelona youth teams. All participants attending this camp will have the chance to train in Mini Estadi - the facilities of FC Barcelona where players will take part in 5 x 90 minutes high level training sessions with assigned FCB coaches along with leisure, recreation and sports activities related to football and Barça including friendly games with FCBEscola Barcelona and/or other local teams. The main aim of the Camp is to develop each player s football abilities based on playing philosophy of FC Barcelona while transmitting the personal, social and sports values that are so representative of FCB: humility, effort, ambition, respect and teamwork. FCBEscola Camp is an exclusive experience and its the best way to feel like an FC Barcelona player.
TRIP INFORMATION TRIP DURATION: 7th of April 20:00H till the 12th of April 2018 13:00H Players are under full responsibility of Stryx Sports during this period excluding La Liga game ( Should any players decide to attend it ) HOTEL NAME AND ADDRESS: Hotel NH Barcelona Sant Just in Carrer de Frederic Mompou, 1, Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona, Spain MEETING DETAILS: 7th April 2018 at 20:00 in the hotel lobby FLIGHTS: Flight bookings are responsibility of each familily individually and will not be part of the travel package offered by Stryx Sports VISAS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS: Schengen visa arrangements are the responsibility of parents as well. Stryx Sports will provide supporting documents like hotel booking confirmation, travel insurance and FCB invitation letter upon request for the purpose of visa applications CHAPERON SERVICE: Chaperons will only be provided in Barcelona. Children will not be accompanied from Amman to Barcelona and back, therefore, it is important to note that all players must travel accompanied by parent(s) and/or guardian(s) PARENTS: Please note that, Stryx Sports does not undertake travel arrangements of parents. If you choose to travel to Barcelona to attend the Camp and accompany your child, all travel logistics of accompanying family members must be taken care of by themselves. Parents are most welcome to book the same hotel the group will be staying at or select a hotel of their choice closer to the city center. Parents are free to attend all training sessions and matches and join the group during all extra activities, if they wish. AGENDA: A detailed agenda will be shared with all parents before the trip. In the meantime, a sample agenda from the last FCBEscola Dubai trip to Barcelona is sent along with this document to give parents an idea of our trip plan and schedules.
In the section below you will find more information about the hotel where we will be staying as well as travel package option available for players along with details on extra activities. HOTEL ACCOMODATION All players and staff will be staying at 4* Hotel NH Barcelona Sant Just. For more information we highly encourage you to visit the hotel s website: CLICK HERE All players will be accommodated in either double or triple rooms and will not be allowed to share rooms with their parents, should parents choose to stay in the same hotel. This hotel is less than 10 minutes away from official FCB facilities Camp Nou and Mini Estadi, which is where the Camp will be held as well as Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper FC Barcelona training ground and academy base. The hotel is about 20-25 minutes drive from Barcelona city center.
CAMP Activities There will be number of activities organized during the FCB Camp. See all the fun below: Camp Nou Experience: The Camp Nou Experience has become an obligatory stop for anyone visiting Barcelona. This experience gives you the chance to walk through the most emblematic areas of the stadium and FCB Museum. The last stop of the Camp Nou Experience is FCBotiga an official FC Barcelona store where you can find all the latest official clothes and souveniers of Barça. Attendance of La Liga Match FC Barcelona vs Leganés: Children can also get the chance to attend a game of FCBarcelona against Leganés, which will enrich their football experience watching their favourite stars playing live. Watching a football match is one of the greatest pleasures of any Barça fan life, and where better to do it than Camp Nou a home stadium of FC Barcelona. The attendance of FCB vs Leganés match is an optional activity, which will fall on either 7th or 8th April 2018, the exact dates and timings usually get confirmed and officially published on the website of FC Barcelona 2-3 weeks prior to the games. La Liga ticket price is not included in the overall camp fees. Please contact our team if you are interested in attending the game with your child so we could assist you in booking the tickets.
Barcelona City Tour: In addition to the full football experience, there will be a sightseeing programme for the players to learn the history of Barcelona by visiting some of the historical monuments and landmarks of the city. FCBEscola Theory Lessons: Players attending the Camp will be offered theory lessons in order to learn about FC Barcelona history and to know the basis of FCBEscola philosophy. Amongst the topics are: history of the Club, technical and tactical contents, methodology, game system etc. Friendly games: A number of friendly games will be organized against local teams to give players a chance to put all they have been taught during the Camp into practice. Details of fixtures will be shared with parents closer to the travel dates. Various FCB teams trainings/matches: Attendance of as many sports activities related to various FCB teams as possible, amongst the options are: FCB Futsal games, FCB Female team matches, FCB youth teams training sessions etc (depends on timings/availabilities). Other activities: There will be more activites to enjoy during the Camp. Additional activities are weather dependent and are yet to be confirmed.
Travel packages for players Travel package option below includes the full experience of the Camp and players will have everything already paid for and will only have to worry about some pocket money for personal expenses, if any. Registration process Please see the necessary steps to complete your registration below: Step 1: a. Fill out Camp authorization form on the last page and submit it along with the first payment (see further details below), valid passport of a player and valid passport of a parent who fills and signs these forms by 15th February 2018 (*passport should be valid for at least 6 months). In addition to that, parents will be required to submit Camp registration form outlining all terms and conditions by 15th February, online link for it will be shared with all parents in the next email communication. Step 2: Confirm participation in the trip by Make full payment by the deadline of 15th February 2018 Step 3: Payments can be made either by cheque or online. a. b. Cheque payments can be made at Amman Baccalaureate School made payable to ABS. Please note that if the documents are not handed and the full payments are not made by the above mentioned deadlines, we will consider this as a refusal from your side to attend the trip and we will be unable to ensure your spot for the Camp.
Schengen visas All SCHENGEN Visa applications to Spain must be submitted through BLS International Spain Visa Application Center with Amman office currently operating in Alisawi Building 2nd Floor, Abdallah Ghosheh Street. Please refer to the following link for all your VISA requirements, appointment bookings, application tracking and required documents: https://jordan.blsspainvisa.com/index.php As mentioned previously in this document, we will share an invitation letter from the club with you along with a hotel booking and travel insurance so you can present these to the VISA office. Please apply for your VISAs enough time ahead of the trip to ensure that you receive it before travel dates. In case you need to apply for a VISA for Spain, please allow a minimum of 3 weeks to have your VISA ready. FCB CAMP Terms & Conditions General Conditions: 1.The parent(s) must ensure that the participant is physically fit and able to participate in FCBEscola Camp in Barcelona and accordingly the parent(s) accept all risks resulting from participation in Camp s training sessions, matches and other activities (hereinafter referred as FCBEscola Camp ). 2.In the event that the participant needs medical attention during the FCBEscola Camp, the parent(s) agree to FCBEscola First Aid certified personal carrying out any appropriate and necessary First Aid treatment. 3.The FCBEscola Camp organiser (hereinafter referred as Stryx Sports ) does not accept responsibility for any death, personal injury or loss of or damage to property. 4.The cost of any damage caused by any participant or by the parent(s) will be borne by the parent(s). 5.All training sessions will be conducted in English. 6.Stryx Sports treats as a priority the safety and well-being of all children attending FCBEscola Camp. Stryx Sports, therefore, reserves the right to remove any child or parent/ guardian found bullying, misbehaving or generally being disruptive without the right for any refund for the remainder of FCBEscola Camp (trainings / other activities). 7.Places in FCBEscola Camp are limited. They will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. 8.Extra activities are subject to change according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. Stryx Sports reserves the right to amend any sessions schedules/extra activities and/or to change any information in the final agenda, should this be necessary for any reason. 9.The parent(s) agree to grant Stryx Sports the worldwide right without approval or compensation, to use the participant s name, photographic or video image or likeness for its reasonable commercial purposes such as newspaper or magazine ads and online social media (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram etc). 10.Stryx Sports will not permit any player to attend FCBEscola Camp trainings/ activities without the official FCBEscola outfit. 11.All participants will be required to submit their passport copy along with passport copies of a parent filling and signing authorization and registartion forms prior to FCBEscola Camp commencement. 12.Neither the parent(s) nor the participant shall disclose or use any aspect of FCBEscola Camp course for commercial purposes. 13.If you are not the participant s parent or guardian, you confirm that you have made such parent or guardian fully aware of this booking and of these terms and conditions and that they have agreed to them. 14.No parents or guardians are allowed to be on the field and must refrain from talking to coaches during FCBEscola Camp training sessions/matches. Any questions or concerns can be addressed to the coaches and/or Stryx Sports team after the training sessions/matches. 15.Stryx Sports does not bear responsibility for any participant during his travels to and from Barcelona. 16.Participants are under full responsibility of Stryx Sports strictly from 7th April 20:00H to 12th April 13:00H (La Liga match excluded). 17.If the member has any medical condition (e.g. allergies etc), a parent must ensure that this information is written in the registration form in order to make Stryx Sports aware of such condition. 18.The FCBEscola Camp will run with a minimum of 25 registered participants. Payments & Refunds: 1.All applications must be accompanied by the relevant fees. Applications by phone are not confirmed until receiving the payment. 2.FCBEscola Camp fees can be paid over two equal instalments of 1050 JD each. The place at FCBEscola Camp is considered reserved only upon receipt of 1st instalment. 2nd instalment is to be made by the set-out deadline of 15th February 2018. 3.Payment can be done at ABS school by cheques made payable to ABS or Online (refer to online payment link in the booklet). 4.The FCBEscola Camp fees are not refundable under any circumstances. In the event of any cancellation, the fees can be transferred to another person. 5.No discounts including sibling discount will be offered to FCBEscola Camp participants. 6.In case a participant gets injured during the FCBEscola Camp or is unable to attend the remaining sessions for any other medical reasons, the remaining training sessions will not be refunded or compensated in any form. 7.Should FCBEscola Camp get cancelled for any reason, a full refund of fees will be made to all registered participants.
