1. DATE & VENUE The 15 TH KFC LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL REGATTA PERDANA 2018 will be held from 31 Jan to 04 Feb 2018 at the National Sailing Centre, Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia. 2. ORGANIZING AUTHORITY The regatta is organized under auspices of National Sport Council, Malaysian Sailing Association (MSA), National Sports Council of Kedah and by the Kedah Sailing Association (KSA) 3. ENTRY The regatta will be open to both national (Malaysian) and international participants. 4. RULES The regatta will be governed by RRS 2017-2020 ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the Class Rules, the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions. 6. JURY International Jury will be appointed by the organizer and will act accordance with RRS 70.5 and appendixes N. Decision of juries are final and not subject to appeal.
7. ENTRIES & FEES Entrance fees are USD80.00/per participant for Optimist Class and USD100.00/per participant for other classes registered before 15 Jan 2018. Late register after 15 Jan 2018 Entry Fees will be USD100.00/Per participant for Optimist class and USD120.00/Per participant for other classes. For the Olympic class, all local sailors (Malaysian) will pay the same amount in USD. For invited class, only Malaysian sailors will pay in (RM). *Kindly please return the Preliminary Entry Form (appendix A) as soon as possible and not later than 31th December 2017. 8. The number of races scheduled for the series shall be Twelve races (12 ). 9. COURSES AND RACING AREA The Courses to be sailed and the racing area will be detailed in the Sailing Instructions. 10. SCORING RRS Appendix A 4.1 'Low Point System' shall apply. Detail of the scoring system will be included in Sailing Instructions.

TRANSFER BOAT TO LANGKAWI Ferry services are available daily to Langkawi from Kuala Kedah and Kuala Perlis. To transfer boats please make an arrangement with us before or by 29 th Jan 2017 or RORO by 30 Jan 2018 We will make special arrangement with Barge Operator to transfer boat with lorry. All boats should be arrived in Kuala Kedah before or by 29 Jan 2018 at 1200 hrs. All charges shall be borne by owner of the boats.
