Rita s Italian Ice LN Student-Athletes of the Week Rita s is located at 8910 East 96 th Street, just north of the intersection of 96 th and Sargent Road. Ty Ana Upshaw, Cheerleading and Tyler Majors, Wrestling Ty Ana Upshaw, a senior, is a three-year varsity cheerleader who is also an AVID volunteer in the LT community. Coach Sahagun says that she is always going above and beyond, giving back to her school and community through a variety of philanthropic events. Tyler Majors, a senior wrestler at 285 lbs., has started the season with a 5-0 record with 3 pins. Majors was also recognized as All-MIC during the football season. Congrats Ty Ana and Tyler!

Cheerleading: The Wildcat cheerleading squad will once again sponsor a food drive to benefit the LN food pantry. The team will be at the Fall Creek Kroger on December 2 nd from 9:00am 3:00pm to Stuff the Bus full of needed items for our Lawrence Township families. Mark the date and please stop by Kroger on December 2 nd and help us Stuff the Bus.

Girls Basketball: The Wildcats pushed their season record to 7-0 with convincing wins over Tech (73-19) and Columbus North (70-35), a traditional power in girls basketball. The team is playing extremely well on the defensive end of the court, keeping opponents to an average of only 40 points per game so far this season. The #4 Wildcats will host the #1 Carmel Greyhounds on Tuesday night in the MIC Network Game of the Week. Let s pack the gym for this bigtime matchup! JV starts at 6:00pm and the varsity will start at 7:30pm. See the two for one offer below! Go Cats!!

Boys Basketball: Head Coach Jack Keefer has won 699 games as the one and only head coach for Lawrence North High School. He will be going after win #700 as a Wildcat in the season opener this Wednesday night at home against Park Tudor. His 760 wins rank 5 th all-time in the history of Indiana High School basketball. The 2017-2018 team is ranked #5 in the pre-season IBCA coaches poll. The Wildcats will also host the Marion Giants on Friday night in the Keefer Gymnasium. Boys/Girls Swimming: The teams did not swim last week, taking the time to get some training in before hosting Brebeuf on Tuesday and then a tri-meet with conference rivals Ben Davis and Pike on Thursday. Both meets will start at 5:30pm. See the two for one offer below! Go Cats!

Wrestling: The LN wrestlers lost a hard fought meet to Warren Central last week, 46-21. Dheontae Unseld, James Despain, Deon Pettiford, and Tyler Majors all won their matches for the Cats. The team will host Carmel on Wednesday starting at 6:00pm in the Fieldhouse. See the two for one offer below!

On Tuesday, the boys/girls swimming & diving team host Brebeuf (5:30pm) and the girls basketball team hosts Carmel (7:30pm). You get both events for only $6.00. On Wednesday, the wrestling team hosts Carmel (6:00pm) and the boys basketball team hosts Park Tudor (7:30pm). Again, you get both events for only $6.00.
