The detailed schedule will be delivered to all participants upon arrival. The Competition is limited to military personal on active duty (see CISM Regulations, Art. 7.21). 3. TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM THE COMPETITION VENUE The cost of travel to and from Germany will be the responsibility of the participating country. The organizer will ensure the transportation from the mentioned places of arrival/departure in Germany to the designated competition and will also provide transport during the conduct of the event. On request missions will be collected from these points by military bus. 4. CONDITIONS OF STAY During their stay the missions are guests of the German Federal Armed Forces. Suitable board, lodging and local transportation during the competition will be provided by the organizer. Extra expenses such as fees for telephone calls, laundry services, additional drinks etc. must be paid by the consumer. Any costs associated with the stay of missions before 17 th or after 26 th September must be paid by the respective missions. Additional personnel will not be accepted without an official written permission of the organizer. The cost of travel to the point of arrival and from the point of departure in Germany is solely the responsibility of the participating nation. Transportation from the points of arrival in Germany (Warendorf-Region) and return will be provided by the organizer. Medical emergencies (first aid) will be the responsibility of the German Federal Armed Forces. The German Federal Armed Forces will provide medical support for all scheduled competitions. The German Federal Armed Forces will not be responsible for any advanced medical expenses, to include hospital stays, surgical procedures, and/or other medical care beyond first aid. All participants must travel with their own inherent medical coverage. Special medical treatment is under the responsibility of the participating nations. 5. REGULATIONS The competition will be organized in accordance with the most recent regulations of the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM) and CISM Modern Pentathlon Regulations. 6. CUSTOMS AND VISA PROCEDURES Information concerning passports, visas and vaccinations can be obtained from the German Embassy in your country (Invitation is present at German Embassy). Enclosed in the Invitation you can find forms to facilitate the entry of weapons. 7. UNIFORMS Service uniforms with jacket and tie are required for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies as well as for a number of designated receptions. Jacket and tie required for civilian members. Competition outfit and equipment is in accordance with the CISM Modern Pentathlon Regulations. are 8. WEATHER INFORMATION The weather in September can range from a daily high of 21-25 Celsius to a daily low of 15 19 Celsius. The possibility of rain is medium. 9. ENTRY FORMS Preliminary Agreement: Final Entry: 25 MAY 2016 05 AUGUST 2016 On the final entry form, the participating mission shall indicate a valid and operated phone/mobile phone and fax number as well as an email address in case the organizing committee needs to contact them. All names mentioned in agreements must be written in Latin letters as stated in the passport. For the creation of ID cards for the championships, participants have to send a recent 4x6 cm size photo at high resolution of themselves to the contact address below. 8
10. REMARKS It is planned to do a data collection during the competition. This will only conducted on voluntary base and in coordination with the coaches. Details will be given by the President CISM Sports Committee Modern Pentathlon during the technical meeting. 11.
