It s what drives the Tigers

Welcome to The University Club of Baton Rouge As the General Manager of The University Club, I am thrilled to introduce to you one of the top collegiate venues in the country. This course was built to provide a permanent home for the LSU Golf Teams and to provide avid golfers with a private membership to one of the finest golf clubs. The University Club is the place where Tiger Traditions will be shared and created by friends and family alike. The University Club is a 7,700, Par 72, Championship-Caliber course designed by David Toms and Jim Lipe. The vision during our 2010 golf course renovation was to build a course that will challenge the best players around the country, while still offering a course that members can enjoy daily. The design team took advantage of the natural topography keeping integral the Louisiana Wetlands that surround this challenging design. Our passion for quality golf can be seen in our unique amenities. We are the only course in the state to offer 4 holes designated for practice on 35 acres of a pristine practice facility. With the Chuck Winstead Golf Academy, each member will enjoy the convenience of having top instruction available to them, along with access to instructors who are personally trained by LSU Men s Coach and #1 Golf Instructor in the state Chuck Winstead. We feel it necessary to also help juniors grow in their game, perhaps turning your little Tiger Cub into a Fighting Tiger. With LSU Golf Programs accessible to all members, we have an unmatched practice facility and the highest level of instruction available. We offer a fantastic Sports Complex, including our fit ne s s ce nter, swimming pool and tennis courts. The fitness area boasts top of the line equipment and strength machines. Our five lane swimming pool caters to all members offering lap swimming, open swim and a safe children s area, as well as a resort style leisure pool with full service snack bar. Enjoying a game of tennis during the day or in the evening will be accommodated by our six lighted rubico clay tennis courts. Whether your interest is in our unrivaled golf course or for the wonderful social events conducted throughout the year, one thing is for sure; The University Club will be where Tiger fans and supporters come to enjoy LSU traditions. Membership is limited, so reserve your spot today to make the UC your future home. The University Club it s what DRIVES the TIGERS!!! Sincerely, Jared LeBouef General Manager The University Club
