Page 4 APRIL 2012 Letter from Willy Huber, Wolves Chair This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Waterloo Wolves Midget AAA Hockey Team. It was definitely another great and memorable season that would not have been possible without those who supported the team this year, and those who have supported the organization throughout the years. I would like to start off by saying THANK YOU to our generous and amazing sponsors. On behalf of the whole Waterloo Wolves Midget AAA Hockey Team, coaching staff and the Wolves Operating Committee, I would like to express my sincere thanks to you for making our 2011-2012 European Tour possible. It was a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience for all who were involved and will be remembered forever. The Wolves had a phenomenal time observing and learning about the various cultures Europe has to offer. On the ice, the Wolves enjoyed playing with very talented and dynamic European players. Not only did you support the trip, but also the entire Midget program which will continue to be an icon of Waterloo Minor Hockey for years to come. Overall, it was a fantastic season for which we once again owe thanks to you, our dedicated sponsors! Thank you to Waterloo Minor Hockey Association for your continuous support in assisting the development of this great hockey club. It is truly an honour to be part of such a phenomenal organization. I would like to thank the Wolves Operating Committee, (Marnie Huber Director Parent Fundraising, Bob Lekun Head Coach, Gary Spark Director Team Operations, Sandi Henning Director Media & Advertising, Vicki Eckert Wolfamania Chair, Paul Raymond Committee Member, Stephen Doucette Team Manager 2011-12, Diana Thomas Announcer) and all of the parents who worked hard throughout the whole season. THANK YOU! Your hard work at Wolfamania, Hero to Hero, and at the games did not go unnoticed. You all demonstrate what it truly means to be passionate volunteers. The coaching staff did an amazing job once more this season. The long hours of practice, help, and dedication to the team has been greatly appreciated. You taught the players incredible hockey skills that they will be able to take with them for years to come. Thank you also to our amazing skate technician, Kim Rennie. We appreciate your help Kim! Last but not least, I would like to say job well done to the Waterloo Wolves Midget AAA Hockey Team. The Wolves had 30 wins, no regulation time losses, and only 2 shootout losses. Each and every one of you performed incredibly on the ice this season. You should all be very proud of yourselves for coming in 1st in the 2011-2012 Alliance. Together we have built memories that will be remembered for years to come. Our European trip is one of the memories I will truly cherish. It has been an honour to see you all grow to be great young men both on and off the ice. Again, great job on an awesome season! I would now like to wish all of you all the best in your future endeavours. For those who will be coming back in 2012-13, I promise you another exhilarating season. Again, thank you to everyone who contributed in making this season a stupendous and memorable one. We look forward to having your continued support in the 2012-2013 season. REMEMBER, ONCE A WOLF, ALWAYS A WOLF. Your friend in hockey, Willy Huber Jr. - Chair Midget Operating Committee and Corporate Sponsorship, Waterloo Wolves Midget AAA Hockey Thank You!!
