Event wise details 1. BUSINESS QUIZ Each team will comprise of two members. The rules and regulations for different rounds will be disclosed to the teams at the time of the quiz. Three best teams will be awarded. 2. DEBATE (Topic to be finalized) Each team will comprise of two members (one speaking for the motion and one speaking against the motion). Time allotted to each participant will be 4min +1min. Two best teams and one best speaker will be awarded. 3. YOUNG MANAGER CONTEST Each team will comprise of two members. Different themes will be given to choose from. Participants have to prepare a business plan. A presentation of their plan is to be done. The time limit given to each team would be approx 10-15 min. 4. IT QUIZ (COMPUTER GYAN) Maximum of two participants per team. Rules and regulations for different rounds will be disclosed at the time of quiz only. Three best teams would be awarded.

FASHION SHOW Maximum of 15 members in a team will be allowed. Time limit 10 15min will be allotted per team. Only one team allowed per course. There will be two rounds. Each participant is allowed to walk on the ramp only once. Cassettes & CDs are required to be carried by the participants.( 2 COPIES IN AUDIO FORMAT, NO DVD OR MP3 ALLOWED) 2 BEST TEAMS WILL BE AWARDED. 10. GROUP DANCE COMPETITION (JAZZ UP THE FLOOR) Minimum of 4 members and maximum of 10 members in a team will be allowed. Two best teams will be awarded. The teams are required to present their performance as per a theme decided by them. Time limit 5-6 minutes will be given. Three best teams will be awarded. (Overall performance & selection of a theme will be in the criterion for judgment.) Cassettes & CDs are required to be carried by the participants.( 2 COPIES IN AUDIO FORMAT, NO DVD OR MP3 ALLOWED) 11. MR. and MS. OASIS

Maximum of 2 members in a team (one boy and one girl). Clothes and other accessories are to be arranged by the participants. 12. 60 SEC CURRY (Just A Minute) What you can dare to do in a minute? We would dare you to do anything, so be prepared- Individual participation required. It would be preceded in different rounds of preliminary, quarter final, semifinal and final round. Three best entries would be awarded. 13. TREASURE HUNT Treasure would be hidden and clues will be given to the team as to where the treasure is. Clues will be in sequence for which the participants have to crack the codes and lead to the treasure. 5 members in a team One best team will be awarded. 14. LAUGHTER CHALLENGE: Individual participation Time limit 2 minutes Use your mimicry or your mono-acting skills or any other skills which you have Three best participants will be awarded. 15. RADIO JOCKEY HINT: Individual participation Participants have to prepare a radio script on the topic given at the time of event

RANGOLI : Individual participation Only space will be provided other necessary material is to be arranged by participants themselves. Theme will be given on the spot Three best entries will be awarded. 17. NACH BALIYE (Crazy Kiya Re) There will be two rounds: Round 1 Couple choice Aaja Nach Le, its an elimination round. Round 2 Purane Geet Naya Andaaz Cassettes & CDs are required to be carried by the participants.( 2 COPIES IN AUDIO FORMAT, NO DVD OR MP3 ALLOWED), time limit 4 to 5 minutes. Participants will not be allowed to change the costumes and dresses. 3 best teams will be awarded. 18. RADIO RACHNA Each team has to prepare the programme on the spot. The subject will vary from social issue or humour. Time limit each tem will be given 5 minutes for broadcasting their program and two minutes for announcement and closing. Minimum 2 and maximum 5 participants per team. Any sound effect should be orally done by team members. Support of music is not allowed. Judgment will be on the basis of Script Inputs, Presentation, Voice Modulation and Extra Qualities added with Oral Manipulation. 2 best teams will be awarded and special prize will be considered for highly commendable entry.

19. CHILL PHOTOGRAPHY All participants will bring their own cameras (digital or manual) for still photography. Photo competition on the subjects such as poverty, child lab our, dowry, unemployment etc. In this section the participants will give not more than three photos depicting their message. 3 best participants will be awarded 20. SUDOKU There shall be three rounds namely prelims, semi s & grand finale. Su-do-Ku problems will be of same level for all participants (as specified by published material). The accuracy will be the only criteria for selection. The Top two candidates will be awarded in the Finals 21. TATTOO MAKING Maximum of 2 members in a team Three best will be awarded. Tattoo can be made on face, forearms, and legs but below knee. No indecent pictures/slogans can be made. Time duration 1:30 min 22. NUKKAD NATAK Minimum of 3 members and maximum of 10 members. Time limit 10-15 minutes. Script and choreography is to be done by the participants. Theme should be meaningful. 23. IT CREATIVE CHANCE Participants have to design a mini-project / a small game in 3 hours. Maximum 2 participants per team only 1 team from each collage. Topics will be given on the spot.

Languages : C/C++/VB/JAVA Platform: Windows. 24. Art of Mixology (Mocktail Making) Oasis 2009 Rules for Participant 1. Each team will consists of one member only 2. Each participant has to make one innovative drink from the ingredients provided. 3. Maximum 15 minutes for mise-en-place ( Pre- preparation). 4. 10 minutes for the preparation and presentation of the drink. 5..Each competitor has to write their own innovative original recipe and should be ready to present to the Judge. Bheja fry (Hospitality Brain Twister) Oasis 2009 FIRST ROUND (preliminary round) 1. Each team should have two members. 2. The quiz will be based on Hospitality Awareness, General Knowledge & I.Q... 3. The quiz Comprises of Three Rounds. After each round the successive participants will go to the next round. 4. All teams are to report on time. Absence to report on time may even lead to disqualification. 5. Each correct answer will be awarded 2 points. 6. At the end of this round, 5 teams will be short listed. SEMI-FINAL & FINAL ROUNDS 1. The Semi-Final Round will comprise of total of three rounds. Mix Bag, Visual and Rapid Fire Round. 2. Through this Three Teams will be short listed for the Final Round. 3. The Final Round will comprise of Five Rounds i.e. Mix Bag, Visual and Rapid Fire..

25 Kuch Cook Hota Hai 1. Each team will have two participants. 2. Only 1 team can participate from each Year of each Course/Stream. 3. The organizers will provide only Cooking material. They have to bring their own kitchen kits (Knives, Peelers, Spoons, etc.) & Crockery for display. 4. Participating teams have to use their creativity and skills to make the final products only out of given raw material. No extra material will be provided to the teams on demand. 5. There will be no cooking involved, the participants will only have to mix and assemble the given raw materials into dishes like Sandwiches, Salads, Canapés, etc. 6. The preparation time for both the eliminating as well final round is one and half hours. 7. Winners will be decided on the basis of innovative skills, final presentation and less wastage. 8.
