Dear Sport Friends, We are happy to invite you to the beautiful city of Volos, on the occasion of the FINA World Women s Junior Water Polo Championships 2015 to be held, on August 17 th 23 rd, 2015. Volos is a city with great tradition in aquatics and has successfully organized important aquatic events in the past, with great success, amongst them the Qualification Tournament European Water Polo Men s Championships 2010, 16 th FINA World Men s Junior Water Polo Championships 2011, FINA Water Polo World League Women s Preliminary Round 2012, 13 th FINA World Synchronised Swimming Championhsips 2012 and last 10 th FINA World Junior Women s Water Polo Championships 2013.. All people involved with the organization of this competition, will do their best to make you feel at home and have a successful competition. DATE, RULES AND REGULATIONS The FINA World Women s Junior Water Polo Championships 2015, will be held from Monday 17 th to Sunday 23 rd, August 2015, and will be conducted in accordance with FINA rules. KEY DATES Arrival in Volos - Thursday, August 13 rd, 2015. Competition from August 17 th to August 23 rd Departure from Volos - Monday, August 24 th, 2015. TECHNICAL MEETING The Hellenic Swimming Federation shall organize a Technical Meeting on August 16th at 17.30 hours, to be held at VOLOS PALACE Hotel. The FINA TWPC shall chair this meeting. MEDICAL SERVICES Medical Services are provided to both venues. DOPING Doping tests will be conducted at this competition in accordance with FINA rules. ACCREDITATION DESK Accreditation will be provided to the team members entered to the final entry form, according to FINA quotas VISA ASSISTANCE European Union Citizens do not need an entry visa to Greece. For all other countries, Visas will be issued if requested in due time. Hellenic Swimming Federation will be sending invitation letters to participating Federations in order to help them to obtain their visas upon request. Please take note that visa procedures may take up to a month and detailed data are requested, such as full names, Passport numbers and exact dates of entry and departure rom the country. ACCOMMODATION PROCEDURES All reservations to be made through the Organizing Federation only, NOT THE HOTELS PLEASE. Official transportation will be given to all teams booking through the Organizing Committee.Reservations are to be considered on first come first served basis. All prices are full board, breakfast and two meals per day, per person. The costs of extra services (phone, mini bar, pay TV, Internet, extra consumption at the restaurant) should be paid at the reception before departure.
