TOURNAMENT INFORMATION Event title: 33 rd Indonesia Ladies Amateur Open Golf Championship Sanctioned by: Indonesia Golf Association Tournament date: July 4 6, 2017 Tournament website: www.pbpgi.org / www.gadingrayagolf.com Tournament course: Gading Raya Padang Golf & Klub, Banten - Indonesia Tournament format: 54 holes stroke play over three rounds of 18 holes 1. Management Ladies Amateur Open shall be managed by a Championship Committee, appointed by the Indonesia Golf Association (IGA), hereinafter called the COMMITTEE. 2. Rules of Play The Championship will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf approved by The R & A Rules Limited & the USGA, Conditions of Competitions and Addendums, and with the Local Rules approved by the Organizing Committee. Disputes, if any, will be settled by the Committee, and a decision made by the Committee will be final. 3. Eligibility The Championship is sanctioned by PGI Banten Chapter and open to all Ladies Amateur golfers in accordance with the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by the R&A Rules Limited & the USGA, and golfers who have a maximum Handicap Index as follows: Ladies Amateur Event AA: Max USGA Handicap Index: 9.2 or Course Handicap: 11 Ladies Amateur Event BB: Max USGA Handicap Index: 17.2 or Course Handicap: 20 Participant must register with an official Handicap Index from their respective Golf Union or Club. If a player has a Handicap Index maintained at more than one Club, she shall play off the lowest Handicap Index. 4. Team Competition Each club shall be represented by a team of two (2) or three (3) players all of whom shall be Amateur Golfers according to the Rules of Amateur Status as approved by the R&A. Each Team may nominate a Captain who may be either one of the two or three players or some other person (must not be a professional golfer). If a Team appoints a person other than a player in the team, he/she may give advice. The person must be identified to the COMMITTEE at registration prior to the start of the CHAMPIONSHIP. He/she will be treated as part of the competitor s side and not an outside agency. The Team Captain will not be allowed onto the putting greens when giving advice and must not disturb other players or causing undue delay play. The penalty for breach of this condition is: 1st violation - Official warning Subsequent violation - 2 stroke penalty Team members are not partners and only the Team Captain may give advice during a round. If the Team Captain is a playing Captain, the Rules forbid her from giving advice while she playing. 6. Scoring Format: A. THE CHAMPIONSHIP The Championship will be conducted over three rounds in 3 days playing 18 holes in each round per day for the Ladies Amateur Event AA, using Gross stroke play (SCRATCH) format. And two rounds playing 18 holes in each round per day for 2 days for the Ladies Amateur Event BB, using Net stroke play (ON HANDICAP). I. Individual Ladies Amateur Event AA 54 holes stroke play on the July 4 6, 2017, cut will be applied after finishing 36 holes. The winner of gross category will be the one with the lowest aggregate gross score after 54 holes. Playing from WHITE tee. II. Individual Ladies Amateur Event BB 36 holes stroke play on handicap on the July 5 6, 2017. The winner Net category will be the one with the lowest aggregate net score after 36 holes. Playing from RED tee. Event B is divided into 2 flights: i. Flight A : handicap 0 11 ii. Flight B : handicap 12 20 No cut - off Ladies Amateur Team Event AA Will be held altogether and not separated during the Championship for 54 holes on July 4 6, 2017. The team consists of 2 or 3 players (from same club) and the best 2 scores will be applied as daily team's score. The winner is the team with the lowest 2
aggregate GROSS score combination for 54 holes. If the total team participants are more than 5, the best 4 teams will continue to the next game (3 rd day), based on best aggregate gross score combination for two days. Playing from WHITE tee. Ladies Amateur Team Event BB Will be held altogether and not separated during The Championship for 36 holes on July 5 6, 2017. The Team consists of 2 or 3 players (from same club) and the best 2 score will be applied as daily team's score. The winner team is a team with the lowest aggregate NET score for 36 holes. Playing from RED tee. 7. Ties for Individual &Team Competition A. THE CHAMPIONSHIP Ties Individual: In the event of ties to decide the winner of The 33 rd Indonesia Ladies Amateur Open Golf Championship 2017 (EVENT AA), the winner will be decided by a hole-by-hole play-off. All other ties, winners will be decided by matching score cards (Count Back System). The score of the last 9 holes (10-18), the last 6 holes (13-18), the last 3 hole (16-18), if necessary the last hole (18). If it is still a tie, the winner will be decided by a lot draw. Team : In the event of a tie between teams, it will be decided by matching score cards between one player of each team with the lowest score on the last day as representative of the tying team. 8. Entries and Closing Date All entries and payments must be submitted to the CHAMPIONSHIP Office by the latest on Friday, June 30, 2017 9. Prizes Prizes will be awarded as follow: A. There is no limitation of how many prizes a competitor may win. 10. Draws A play shall be in groups, as determined by the COMMITTEE. The draws for the first two rounds will be made by the Committee. The draw for the last round will be arranged according to the ranking of the first two rounds scores; the lowest scores will tee off last. 11. Cancelation Policy Cancellation 3 (three) days prior to tournament date, 25% of entry fee will be charged Cancellation 2 (two) days prior to tournament date, 50% of entry fee will be charged Cancellation 1 (one) days prior to tournament date, entry fee non-refundable 12.
