As sailors we are close to the environment, and we respect Mother Nature. Your child will learn about the environment and we will make an effort to be more sustainable by recycling, and by using less pre-packaged snacks in our program. Therefore please bring your own reusable water bottle with you, and we can refill your drink. As an effort to use less paper, our registration will mainly be done online. We have a user friendly registration system set up through our website. Hopefully we can convince everyone to register online! Our goal is to make our sailors aware of their waste management and to guide them to make greener choices. You are already on the right path taking a sail boat out over a power boat! GO YOU! GO GREEN! WOULD YOU LIKE TO A SAILING CAMP, MOVIE TICKETS, OR A GAME OF PUTT PUTT GOLF? All you have to do is introduce your friend(s) to our summer sailing program Every time you bring in a new sailing buddy, you will receive a point. The person who collects the most points will WIN a free sailing session, movie tickets, or a game of putt putt golf! All names will be put in a jar and take a chance to win something at the End of Summer Sailing Party as well. Keep track of who s winning the race on the poster posted at the sailing center 9
