B USA E R C, C S Ask any athlete or coach, former or present, about what is best in participating with the USA Eagles and you ll most likely hear they felt great pride in representing their Country, Community and Sport in a competitive environment. The pride you feel when you hear our National Anthem on the fields of a foreign country is like no other experience you can find. The friendships come fast not just with your Team Mates, but also from those on the other side-line. I C O C S A P C T E Our only competitive events are with international professional club level or national teams. We do not compete against U.S. Domestic teams. Our opponents are always from Europe, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Canada, New Zealand or other international opponents. Our Coaching Staff is chosen from dozens of applicants each year. We screen our coaches and staff to determine their suitability to lead highly competitive amateur athletes. Those coaches who have demonstrated leadership and technical skills, have acquired experience at the collegiate or professional level or through extensive Minor League experience, and regularly a end national coach s conferences and educational clinics, are selected to lead our athletes. Our games in Europe and Mexico are generally a ended by representatives of other Professional and Club Level Teams from all around Europe. These representatives are granted access to our athletes and coaches during the full week of our visit to the host country and we make our game film available to scouts from Arena and Indoor Leagues as well as the NFL and CFL. Every year many of our athletes are recruited and signed to professional contracts in Europe, the CFL or Arena Football. In the past, several of our athletes were asked to stay on to join a team immediately after our game.

ABOUT THE CITIES WE WILL VISIT Marseille, France Marseille is located on the French Riviera and sits nicely on the Mediterranean Coast. The second largest city in France with a population of about 1.6 million, it has become the resort destination for much of Europe and the world. The city boasts a boisterous nightlife and is the largest commercial seaport in France.

Q. What does it cost to play for the Eagles? Frequently Asked Questions: A. As an athlete, your financial commitment is to purchase your own protective equipment which must include a white helmet, red face mask and game shoes that are base colored white. In addition, you must pay your own travel related costs which include airfare, hotels and meals. Each game has a different cost associated unique to the host country we are travelling to. Those costs are always provided to you in advance. The typical total costs to a end a game in Europe is between $1,000 and $1,800. The typical costs to a end a game in Mexico is between $750 and $1,200. Our staff can help you formulate your budget upon your request. Q. Does the team pay me to play or coach? A. No. We are an amateur football club that does not compensate its athletes, coaches or other members of the staff in any way. Q. Are the sponsorships available? A. Yes. We provide a financial sponsorship package to you as a component of our general administrative documents. Though it is entirely up to you to raise the funds necessary to travel with the team, our athletes and coaches have had tremendous success in implementing the sponsorship plan. Many travel with no, or very li le, out-of-pocket expense of their own. Q. What level of competition should I expect? A. On the game fields of Europe, Mexico and Canada, you should expect athletes who have outstanding athletic skills and are highly competitive. They rate as highly as a Collegiate Division IAA or II athlete or higher. In many cases the foreign athlete has been the beneficiary of having played the sport within a collegiate program in the United States or has benefi ed from U.S. Collegiate Coaches who have worked with them an the team. In other cases, the Host team actually recruits and employs former Collegiate Athletes who are active on their roster. Q. Where will we stay when we re overseas? A. This really depends upon the city we are visiting. In many cases the team will stay in either dormitory style housing or low-cost hostels. In the past, we ve been guests on U.S. Military facilities, college campuses, National Olympic campuses and standard hotels. Q. Can family members or friends travel with the Team? A. Of course. We generally have several members of athletes and coaches family travel with the team each year. We will work directly with you in order to accommodate this important part of your trip. Several of our athletes and coaches have been signed to contracts in Europe and the professional teams of the United States and Canada.
