230 miles Four days London to Paris is run by Classic Challenge, a tour company that specialises in charity challenges and has been running the London to Paris cycle for over 20 years. After three days of cycling, we ll head out for celebratory drinks, followed by a free day in Paris. A typical day cycling 6am - Wake up for breakfast 7am - Set off Five sections throughout the day Two morning breaks, lunch and one afternoon break to refuel Take on a variety of terrain, from challenging up hill and exhilarating downward stretches to long flat stints Split into ability groups and supported by guides throughout 6pm - Arrive at destination 150 students

Fundraising and costs Reaching your target Registration fee: 150 Travel and accomodation deposts Minimum fundraising: 1,100 50% covers trip costs, fundraising materials, marketing, incentives, staff travel and staff time 50% goes towards furthering Breast Cancer Now s work To help you keep on track of your fundraising we have three incentives and deadlines for you to follow: 1. If you raise 250 by January you will be entered into a draw to win a Team Now sweatshirt. 2. 12 weeks before the trip you will need to have raised 550 3. Four weeks before the trip you will need to have raised 1,100 Fundraising Friends and family donations Street collections Your own organised fundraising events: Quiz, raffle, bake sale, Ebay sale, meal, shave/wax Campus support You have a huge amount of support to ensure you reach your fundraising target and have the best possible time doing so. At your campus you have an incredible RAG committee who have a huge amount of fundraising resources on campus and knowledge of what works well at your university. Additionally, you have a dedicated team leader, there to support you and your team throughout the year. They ll be organising team fundraising activities and socials to ensure you know the other amazing participants taking on the challenge with you. You will then have four weeks to prepare your kit and ensure you ve completed all your training!

Bikes Included Ferry, Eurostar and coach transfer All accommodation during the trip All meals on ride and snacks Guides, mechanics, medical staff, baggage & bike transfer Not included Bike Travel Insurance Kit inc. helmet (essential) Spare inner tubes Spending money for Paris You will need a bike to take part, whether your own or hired. All bikes need to be road worthy and a hybrid or road bike. You will be covering 70+ miles a day, with a number of hills and need a bike suitable for these distances and with enough gears. You must also have a helmet and wear it at all times whilst cycling. Hiring a bike: You can rent a hybrid or road bike through Classic Challenge for roughly 70 for the whole weekend. You will collect this at the start point and return at the Eiffel Tower. All bikes are checked by mechanics to ensure they are suitable to ride.
Training and guides You will need to train for this challenge. Shortly after registration you will receive a training guide from Classic Challenge and have access to Breast Cancer Now s training videos. All are designed specifically for student, to perfectly prepare you for the 230 mile cycle. The earlier you start, the easier it will be! Your guides are there to support you throughout the cycle and ensure you have the best time possible. You will be split into ability groups and supported by at least two guides at all times to ensure you follow the route and cycle safely. They become the heart and soul of the challenge and keep everyone entertained and ready to take
