1. ASSOCIATION AFFILIATION For the purposes of section 3 c) of the Constitution The Club shall be affiliated with the Penrith District Netball Association hereinafter referred to as PDNA. 2. CLUB MEETINGS Club meetings shall be held on the fourth Sunday of the month in which they are called, except where this conflicts with public holidays, school holidays or any other special event. 3. CLUB UNIFORMS a) The Club uniform shall consist of colours teal, black, white and silver. b) All players shall wear Club uniform, patterned dress purchased from The Club. c) Sports briefs must be worn by all players. d) Sandshoes or joggers with a grip sole are to be worn. e) All players must be in full Club uniform while playing in competition games. f) All orders are to be on Club order form and a 50% deposit is required. Full payment is required before items shall be released to a member. All deposits are non refundable except in an extenuating circumstance which requires a letter to The Club stating reason/s for consideration of the Executive Committee. g) Full payment is required if a member has ordered items and discontinues membership after team allocations have been notified. Member will be deemed unfinancial with The Club until full payment has been received and members registration card will not be released. 4. MEMBERSHIP a) Five (5) year and ten (10) year badges will be presented to members at The Club s Annual Presentation for continual years of membership. b) Where a member is unable to fulfil the continual requirements due to injury or illness they may submit their reason(s) in writing to the Executive who shall determine if the member is eligible to count that year. The Executive decision will be final. c) Association fees shall be paid by The Club for all non-playing coaches, umpires and Executive Members. d) Non playing Associate Members are eligible to receive year badges. 5. FOUNDATION MEMBERSHIP a) Foundation Members are members of Executive, Coaches and Umpires who assisted in getting The Club up and running in its Foundation Year 2017. Foundation Members shall be entitled to attend all meetings and shall have full voting rights. 6. LIFE MEMBERSHIP a) Life Membership to The Club is to be by nomination in writing by two (2) financial Club members. The nomination is to proceed to a vote of the Executive Committee at an Executive Meeting. b) To be eligible for nomination the person must have been a member of The Club for at least ten (10) years and has performed meritorious service to The Club, including a substantial component of serving on the Executive Committee, coaching, managing, umpiring or undertaken outstanding service in other areas of The Club. 7. REGISTRATIONS a) Players registrations will close on a date and venue to be fixed by the Executive Committee after the election of Office Bearers at The Clubs Annual General Meeting. b) Registrations are to be taken online via the MyNetball system. c) Registration Day, date and venue will be advertised on our Website and Facebook page. d) The Club shall not be responsible for the failure to notify members personally of the date and venue.

e) Registration fees shall be determined by the Executive Committee. f) Late registration applications received by new and existing members shall only be accepted if there is a position available in a team that the member is eligible to play. g) The Club" will register Junior, Intermediate and Senior teams with nine (9) players only, unless a letter is received signed by every member of Senior teams and signed by the players parent or guardian for Junior and Intermediate teams giving permission for the team to have more than nine (9) players registered. NetSetGo teams may be registered with up to ten (10) players. h) Senior Teams will only be registered if they nominate a qualified umpire who shall be available to umpire each week as required by The Club. i) The Executive Committee may reject any application for registration and is not required to supply reason/s for doing so. j) Registration fees are refundable less any portion that has already been paid to Netball NSW or PDNA but an administration fee of 10% will apply. k) Registration fees are payable for the age that the member is playing in. l) Proof of age is required for all new members and only a birth certificate or passport will be accepted as proof. Two (2) passport size photos are also required. m) Existing photos are to be renewed every three (3) years for NetSetGo, /junior and Intermediate players and every five (5) years for senior players. 8. CLOSED TEAMS and GRADING a) Closed team applications shall be lodged on the appropriate form at The Clubs Registration Day for approval by the Executive Committee. b) In order to be accepted as a closed team, the team must nominate at least seven (7) players eligible to play in the relevant age group. c) The team must supply a coach, a manager and an umpire with the correct qualifications for the team age and grade and a commitment to complete all Club duties required by PDNA. d) The Executive Committee may reject any application for a closed team and is not required to supply reason/s for doing so. e) All remaining players shall be placed into relevant teams for their age groups. 9. GRADING a) Where there are sufficient numbers to register two or more teams in the one age group a grading process shall take place. b) A member must be financial to date to be considered for grading. c) The decisions of the grading selectors shall remain confidential and notification of member team placement and grade shall be made by the appropriate coach within forty eight (48) hours after the completion of the grading process. d) Where a member disagrees with their grading decision the member may appeal the decision in writing (via email) to the Clubs Secretary within forty eight (48) hours for consideration by the Executive Committee. e) If after the appeals process has been completed and the members decision is to discontinue membership, all outstanding payments for uniforms and apparel shall be paid before the player shall be deemed financial to The Club and the players registration card green card will not be released to another Club. The member will be notified as unfinancial to PDNA Registration fees less a 10% administration fee will be refunded provided The Club has not paid for registrations to PDNA. 10. UMPIRING a) Persons who fulfil umpiring commitments on behalf of The Club at PDNA s competition matches shall be paid via cash for their duties. b) The amount of payment for umpiring shall be determined annually by the Executive Committee. c) There shall be six (6) levels of payment as follows: i) Learner ii) No Badge Must be deemed competent to umpire alone iii) District Badge iv) National Badge v) Spare Umpire

vi) NetSetGo d) All runners/coach will be paid at the same rate as the Learner Umpire e) Rates may be increased by up to $5.00 per game if the umpire has umpired more than 14 games in the season. f) Umpires may wear white or The Club s playing uniform or tracksuit. g) Umpires shall be responsible for any dress code fines levied by The Association. The amount shall be deducted from the relevant umpires payment. h) Umpires will be paid three (3) times during the season at the end of June, August and Presentation. i) Where possible rosters will be scheduled monthly so as umpires have notice of their commitments. If there are any problems with the umpires commitments, notification is to be given to the Umpire Convenor as soon as possible. j) No member registered with The Club is permitted to umpire for any other Club unless approval has been given by the Umpire Convenor or other Executive Committee member. 11. CLUBS ANNUAL PRESENTATION a) The Clubs Annual Presentation date and venue shall be notified to members by the end of June in the newsletter. b) Every financial registered player shall be rewarded for participation with near to equal monetary awards and/or gifts. These awards shall be determined by the Executive Committee and shall depend upon the funds available at the completion of the season. c) NetSetGo, Junior and Intermediate teams shall receive two (2) Achievement Awards. One (1) of which shall be a Coaches Award. The Coach or Manager shall nominate the player and the reason (eg, Most Improved, Most Consistent, Players Player, etc). Nominations are to be notified to the Secretary one (1) week after the completion of the team s season. d) Senior teams may nominate a Players Player Award. They will receive extra monetary value on gifts in lieu of these awards. e) A Premiership and Grand Finalists Award shall be awarded to each Junior, Intermediate and Senior team member of a team participating in a Grand Final. Each team member s award shall be the same and be determined by the Executive Committee. f) A Club Person Award may be presented to a member of The Club. Nominations for the award must be submitted in writing and received by The Clubs Secretary no later than PDNA s Grand Final Day. All nominations shall be considered and the recipient shall be determined by the Executive Committee. g) A Presidents Award may be presented to a member of The Club for outstanding achievements as determined by the President. h) If funds permit, coaches, managers and committee members shall receive a gift in recognition of their contribution to The Club. i) Association representative players shall receive a gift in recognition of their selection. j) The agenda for the Presentation shall be determined by the Executive and the order will not be altered on the day. k) Perpetual Trophies i) Team of the Year ii) Junior Player of the Year iii) Intermediate Player of the Year iv) Senior Player of the Year v) Coach of the Year vi) Umpire of the Year 12. PLAYING REGULATIONS a) The Club recommends that playing members of teams receive near to equal court playing time throughout the competition rounds, except in the circumstances late registrations, illness, injury, unsatisfactory behaviour, non attendance to training or the game, which is determined by the Coach. b) Equal court time is not required when a team is playing in Semi s, Finals or Grand Final. c) Players are permitted to play in another team as per PDNA s By Laws provided that such player has permission from their coach. Players details including team, grade and age they are

registered in is to be written on the score sheet. Fines received from the Association for failure to provide correct information on the score sheet shall be forwarded to the offending team for payment. d) If a player plays in another team three (3) times they are deemed by PDNA to be a member of the last team they played in, for the remainder of the season and are not eligible to play with their original team. 13. CARNIVALS Club teams may enter carnivals or gala days organised by PDNA or any other Association at the teams expense. Nomination forms and payment must be submitted to the Secretary by the due date. Teams are responsible for supplying the correctly qualified umpire. 14. CODE OF CONDUCT a) Each team is responsible for the control of their spectators, players and officials, which includes coaches and managers. b) All members of The Club and spectators attending games and/or events controlled by PDNA are required to adhere to the appropriate Code of Conduct in accordance with the Member Protection Policy. c) Where a Club member or spectator is reported for a serious breach of the code applicable to that class of person, action may be taken in accordance with the Member Protection Policy. 15. MEMBER PROTECTION POLICY The Netball NSW Member Protection Policy is adopted and recognised as applicable to all members of The Club. 16. FINES Any fines received by The Club from PDNA shall be passed on to the relevant person, team or umpire.
