APPENDIX [2017-18] CI-GPC-Game1 - Two Day Format.Final Issue Date 25/10/2017 Table 1 Time Calculation Time Prior To Play Commencing For time lost PRIOR to play, reduce innings by 1 over per team for each WHOLE OR PART 7 minutes lost (after taking into account available add-on time). Time During Innings of the Team Batting First For time lost DURING INNINGS OF THE TEAM BATTING FIRST, reduce innings by 1 over PER TEAM for each WHOLE OR PART 7 minutes lost 7 1 91 13 175 25 259 37 14 2 98 14 182 26 266 38 21 3 105 15 189 27 273 39 28 4 112 16 196 28 280 40 35 5 119 17 203 29 42 6 126 18 210 30 49 7 133 19 217 31 56 8 140 20 224 32 63 9 147 21 231 33 70 10 154 22 238 34 77 11 161 23 245 35 84 12 168 24 252 36 Example 1: Less Than 70 During Day 1 a total of 50 minutes has been lost due to a delayed start or interruptions, The finish time for Day 1 will be 5:40pm (40 minutes Add-on time) The finish time for Day 2 will be 5:20pm (20 minutes Add-on time = 10 minutes lost + 10 minutes innings change) There is no need for adjustment of overs. Example 2: Greater Than 70 Assume of a total of 105 minutes lost on day 1 within original playing time. Total Time = 105 minutes plus 10 minutes innings change = 115 minutes. Subtract projected Add-on time available to play the match = 80 minutes Net time lost = 115 80 = 35 minutes lost by each team = 35 minutes net time lost / 7 minutes per over = 5 overs Therefore Team A must receive a minimum of 75 overs batting in to day 2. Innings Batting time = 75 overs x 3.5 minutes / over = 262.5 minutes Batting time on Day 1 = 280 (normal) 105 (lost time) + 40 (Add-on time) = 215 minutes Page 13 / 14
