Last Year s Winners Hull City Ladies always compete in the East Riding Cup and to retain the cup for the 2 nd year running is a proud feeling for the team and coaching staff. The final is well organised and to play on a great surfaced pitch and the buzz to get there and feel the atmosphere and vibe is very special. - Charley McNamara, Hull City Ladies Captain Winners of the Women s Cup Having reached the final of the Qualifying cup the previous season, to go one step further and triumph in this year s competition gave Barmby Moor FC a great sense of achievement. A strong run in a cup competition will always create interest amongst a club s players, supporters and officials. Thanks should go to the County FA for their organisation throughout, particularly on the neutral grounds for the staging of the semi-finals & final to create such a memorable experience. -Mark Schofield, Barmby Moor FC Secretary Winners of the Qualifying Cup Its great to play under flood lights and sample that special atmosphere of a cup final -Emma Johnson, Mill Lane Yellows U14 s Captain It was great for the girls to defend the trophy they won last season. -Tony Storr, Mill Lane Yellows U14 s Captain Winners of the Lassa Tyres U14 s Girls Cup
Winning the East Riding Cup is something this club really enjoys doing especially after the disappointing performance last season. It was great to bounce straight back and win it for the 2nd time in 4 years. Each year it gives us the opportunity to face sides that we don't see week in week out like in our own league and we hold it in high regard. The whole competition is extremely well organised but the final itself is fantastic event professionally organised and it is just the icing on the cake. Thank you to everyone involved at the County FA and the hosts on the night Bridlington. -Liam Bradley, Riccall United Secretary Winners of the Senior Country Cup The chance for non-league players to play in a cup final at a Premier League ground is a great credit to all the teams that enter the Senior Cup. It keeps your season alive if you are not challenging for any other trophies. It s a great place to play and the players certainly look forward to playing there. It was terrific for Ferriby to win the Final at the KC Stadium last season as it topped-off a successful season for the club. For some players the ERSC Final is possibly the only chance they will have to play at a Premier League ground. In particular, for recent finalists such as Reckitts and Hall Road Rangers Reserves who rarely play on enclosed grounds it is a fantastic night. It is also a good night out for the fans and gives them the opportunity see their team walk-out in a cup final at the KC Stadium.
