Handle all containers (even empty) with caution. Use recommended PPE (Section 8) when handling containers. Ensure the availability of emergency eyewash and shower facilities. PROTECT FROM FREEZING. Avoid storage in high temperature areas. Store closed containers away from ignition sources and incompatible materials. Keep containers tightly closed. 8) Exposure Controls/Personal Protection Engineering Controls: Respiratory Protection: Skin Protection: Eye Protection: Ambient conditions should be adequate. Local exhaust is recommended when necessary to reduce concentration below the TLV. Always provide mechanical ventilation of confined spaces. Use an approved (NIOSH/MSHA) respirator with an assessed protection factor > 26. Respirator type: Chemical cartridge; mist, organic vapor (appropriate up to 10X PEL) with dust particulate filter. Consult your Safety Administrator. Respiratory protection should be in compliance with standard 29 CFR1910.134. During handling and application wear chemical resistant gloves, rubber or Buna N. Wear clothing/coveralls appropriate for the risk of exposure. During handling and application, minimum recommended protection is safety glasses with fixed side shields in compliance with OSHA regulations. Chemical type splash proof goggles are advised. Consult your Safety Administrator.
