SMU shot 27.9 percent in the game, its lowest shooting percentage this season since its opening game of the 2013-14 season. The Clan shot 57.1 percent in the 1st half compared to just 21.4 for SMU. A 19-5 run in the final 7:10 of the first half put Simon Fraser firmly in control. Brooke Paulson led the Saints with 12 points in the game inclulding four 3 PT s. But the Falcons closed out the half on a 15-5 run to pull within four at the break. Their momentum carried into the 2nd half as SPU outscored the Saints, 34-13, in the first 13 miuntes of the half. SMU s depth continues to be a strength. 9 different players have scored in double figures for SMU this season while 6 different players have led the Saints in scoring in a game this season.
