Soccer Park -Still owned by Jeff Cooper -Talking with potential buyers about buying facility -Pro team is in question but Jeff will not be involved -We can still rent the facility and this facility is operating more independently -Planning for future in regards to the fields Creve Coeur Facility -Shared between boys and girls -New nets between fields -Appreciate cooperation with training space -Please don't field squat -Big goals anchored down -Reminder to turn off lights and lock up gates -Keep the facility clean Field Development Committee -Formation of Board-Friends of SLSG -Potential to build two more turf fields -Spearheaded by Jeff Panchot -Will be looking at effective ways to build new fields Fall Season Recap Age Group Training -All technique based training -Changed set up -Theme focused training -Different 4v4 setups for games 3

The SLSG Brand -Nike Relationship -Make sure the teams are using the Nike Brand -No Adidas -Coaches gear -Sideline behavior C License Course -Need to coach in the MRL (2012) -McKendree (Spring) -10 day course D License Course -Need to coach in the MRL (This Season) -Tony Glavin Complex (Oct 30-31, Nov 6-7) 3v3 and 4v4 Tourneys -U8-U11 Age Groups -SLSG Creve Couer Complex -Theme of tournament based around World Cup, Champions League -Ryan Haman (Organizer) SLSG Events -SLSG Boys and Girls Fall Classic -Boys (142 teams) -Girls (363 teams) -The quality of fields needs to be better -Overall pleased with the level of play -You save money by staying in town and get high level play 4

SLSG Fundraiser -Club raffle -All online -Each player sells 3 tickers ($25) -Only club fundraiser of the year -Go towards field development -Only U8-U14 Chicago Fire -Victor Pineda (17 year old player) -Very rarely do you see young players bypass college for pro team -Fire still pays for college as well -Fire treats their organization as a way to develop players for their first team -One good player on their first team, worth the sacrifice -Also sell players to other organizations -Get transfer fee -Start recruiting by U6-U8-8 seperate youth clubs (main club in Naperville, Indiana, Louisianc, Mississippi, etc) -The 8 clubs are run a little different, portion of the fees go to the Fire -18s, 16s and 14s (three teams are fully funded) -Took on 14s to give those players a more professional training environment (train 4 times a week, play in friendlies, no league) -More training and less games -Uniform staff -14s do not play high school next year -High school soccer is a big deal to kids but they can push it -Better training in everyday environment -Chicago Sockers only not funded program -Chicago Magic funds their program and individual players 5

Arsenal FC Partnership -Partnered with Richmond Strikers -Top 13s and 14s and train 5x per week for 2 hours a night -First 6 weeks of curriculum was all juggling -Danny is working in USA as North American Scout for Arsenal -Arsene is hands on with everything in regards to the club -By February, we should know more -Next fall we should be involved with partnership SLSG Soccer Environment Player Development Success -Tim Ream -Will Bruin -Cole Grossman -AJ Cochran -Robbie Kristo SLSG Soccer School -Jeff Bogert -K League and 1st Grade League Youth Program -Competition Side -Training 2-3x per week -Fundamental Stage -Dribbling, passing, ball touches -Shooting and ball striking -Small group 7

Junior Program -Pre Academy league (13 and 14) -Elite teams should train 4x per week -Premier teams should train 3x per week -Classic teams should train 2x per week High School Program SLSG System (4-4-1-1) (4-2-3-1) -Communication -Coaches clinic will help -Have a set system to ease transition of moving players Game Reports -Template -Send to coordinators Pre Event Communication -Coaches -Schedules -Travel Issues -Playing time expectations 8
