GENERAL CONDITIONS The event will be held in accordance with - FEI Statutes, 23rd edition, effective 29 th April 2015 - FEI General Regulation 2018, 25rd edition, effective1 January 2009 - FEI Dressage Rules 2016, 25th edition, updates effective 1 January 2018 - FEI Jumping Rules 2017, 26 th edition, effective 1 January 2018 - FEI Eventing Rules 2017, 25 th edition, effective 1 January 2018 - FEI Veterinary Regulation 14 th edition 2018, effective 1 January 2018 II. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS ENTRY FEES Entry fees for each class are shown in the competition schedule. ENTRY CLOSING DATE All entries must be made using the prescribed forms attached or through online entry. Entries must reach the Organiser s Address before or by the Wednesday, 24 January 2018. Entries received after 24 January 2018 will be considered as Late Entries. A late entries fee is 50% the normal entry fees. Entries may be made in person, fax or via email to secretariat together with waiver and liability form. REFUNDS will be provided upon request, in case when horse or rider had a medical condition and were unable to compete. Requests must be accompanied by veterinary certificate for the horse and doctor certificate or parent letter for the rider. Refund administration charge of PR 50,000 will apply per cancellation. Refunds will be provided within 1 (one) week after the show. CASH PAYMENTS All cash payment should be made to the secretariat office. WAIVER FORM Waiver form must be signed by each rider participating in the event. Riders under the age of 18 must have guardian consent. To be returned with entry forms. GENERAL CONDITION You are provided with plastic trash bag for the deposition of dung and other refuse. The dung must be removed from the sawdust daily and disposed of in a proper manner. At the end of competition, all stables must be cleaned of all dung and left over feed. The stables and other areas occupied by participants must be kept clean and tidy at all times. You are not allow to burn sawdust or any other material inside the stable. Cooking inside the stable is not permitted. STABLING FEES Permanent stables Rp 250.000,- per horse per day, Temporary stables Rp 200.000,- per horse per day. To be paid to the Event Secretariat. Horse will not be allowed to leave the permises until the stabling fees have been paid. RULES OF COMPETITION The competition will run under the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). In any circumstance where FEI are not available the Organizing Commitee will have the authority to make decision. PRIZE GIVING CEREMONY Placed riders that do not attend their prize Giving Ceremony will not received their prizes. THE OC RESERVE THE RIGHT Alter advertised times if necessary Cancel, divide or combine any class or event Refuse any entry Increase or decrease the height of the obstacles depending on the entries or other conditions APPEALS Complaints and appeals must be in writing to the Ground Jury, signed by the authorized person from the club making the complaint and presented personally the appeal committee together with any supporting note evidence and names of witnesses and the deposit of Rp. 1,000.000,-. Complaints must be made not later then 30 minutes after the result are announced. If the complaint is accepted OC will refund the deposit conversely if the complaint is not accepted the deposit will remain with the OC. Refer to the FEI Art. 167 Of General Rules & regulations for more details. STABLES OPEN - Dressage Horses Wed, 24th January 2018 - Jumping Horses Thu, 24th January 2018 TECHNICAL BRIEFING - Techinal meeting will be held on Thu, 25th January 2018 at 16:00 at INSURANCE All owners and competitors are personally responsible for damages to third persons caused by themselves, their employees, their agents and their horses. They are therefore strongly advised to take out third party insurance providing full coverage for participation in equestrian events at home and abroad, and to keep their policy up to date. HORSE NUMBERS Horse Numbers are not distributed by the organizer. Riders are responsible for displaying the correct number on their horses at all time. The numbers can be purchased in the secretariat. III. JUMPING RULES & REGULATIONS Classes are judged under the FEI rules. For the in-house rules read below. 1. OPEN classes are open for riders of all ages and horses of all grades 2. CHILDREN classes are open for the riders up to 14 years old 3. JUNIOR classes are open for the riders above 14 years old to 18 th years old 4. YOUNG rider classes are open for the riders above 16 years old to 21 th years old 5. Riders will be eliminated if enter the class of wrong age category 6. In the NON-JUMPOFF classes BELOW 1m one horse can be ridden by maximum three (3) riders 7. In the classes BELOW 1m three (3) refusals are allowed IV. DRESSAGE RULES & REGULATIONS Classes are judged under the FEI rules. For the in-house rules read below. 1. OPEN classes are open for riders of all ages and all horses 2. Callers are permitted during test for walk trot children classes only 3. No horse may take part with more than one rider in the same class/day/competition (except for Walk-Trot class and rider under 16 years old) 4. In Walk-Trot class one horse can be ridden by up to 3 riders

Dress Code 1. Headgear. Top hat is allowed in Medium and above classes. In other classes Hard Hat (Helmet) is compulsory for anyone riding at the event. 2. Dress. White, light colored or black gloves are compulsory. White or light colored breeches, white stock or tie, black riding boots, a dark colour jacket are required when competing and during the presentation of prizes. 3. Spurs. Spurs capable of wounding a horse are forbidden. Spurs must be of smooth metal. There must be a shank pointing only towards the rear, which must be no more than 3.5 cm long. The end must be blunt in order to prevent wounding a horse. If the shank is curved, the spurs must be worn only with the shank directed downwards. 4. Whips. Whips up to 120cm length are permitted to use during the tests. Children/pony is 100 cm 5. Boots. In all Tests, boots (other than as part of regulation service dress) must be black. They must either be long boots in one piece or a full grain smooth leather leg piece and leather boot. 6. Bits. Snaffle bridle compulsory for all dressage tests up to and including Elementary level. In Medium and Advanced level double bridle optional, Prix St. Georges compulsory. If using double bridle, spurs must be worn. 7. Walk Trot Tests. Simple side reins and whips up to 100cm length are permitted. Spurs are not allowed. Reins should use loose V. DRESSAGE GENERAL RULES (additional) STARTING POSSIBILITIES: i. Rider/horse combination: A rider/horse combination is allowed to start in two different classes but with no more than one level difference, i.e.: Preliminary-Elementary, Elementary-Medium, Medium-Advanced or Advanced-PSG, etc. ii. Horse can start two times on the same day: Option 1: Once in Medium, Advanced or PSG and once in the Preliminary or Elementary class (i.e. Horse A + Rider A start in Medium/ or Advanced/or PSG; and Horse A + Rider B starts in Preliminary/or Elementary) - Twice in the Preliminary or the Elementary or the Medium class (i.e. Horse A + Rider A and Horse A + Rider B in the same class Preliminary /or/and Elementary or/and Medium) A horse can start three (3) times on the same day in a Walk-Trot class. DRESS & SADDLERY Dress: A black or dark blue tail coat, with top hat, white or off white breeches, stock or tie, gloves, black riding boots and spurs must be worn for Prix St-Georges. For Advanced class tail coat is optional. For classes below Prix St-Georges, a black or dark blue jacket with a bowler hat or hunting cap is also permitted. However, in extreme heat, judges may give the option not to wear a jacket. A white shirt is compulsory. Black half leather chaps will be allowed. Riders under 16 years: Dark riding jacket. White or off-white breeches or jodhpurs, white shirt with tie or hunting stock, helmet. Gloves must be worn. Riding boots. Top hat is not allowed. Whip of maximum length 1.00 m is allowed. Spurs are optional. No spurs allowed in the Walk-Trot tests. When mounted protective headgear secured by a three point retention harness is compulsory. Saddlery: For Prix St-Georges level, a double bridle is compulsory. For Advanced and Medium Level the double bridle is allowed. For Elementary and Preliminary levels, an ordinary snaffle must be used. This applies in the practice and competition arenas. Whips are allowed in all levels. For adults the whip should not be more than 1.20 m, for children not longer than 1.00 m. HORSE SCHOOLING For use of whips, refer to Article 428 of the Dressage Rules. Under no circumstances is it permitted to school the Horses in other areas than the official training arenas. No schooling is permitted in any area which cannot be supervised by the Stewards. A horse can t be schooled by anyone other than the COMPETITOR, mounted in the saddle twenty four (24) hours before the planned Horse inspection (or before class started) as well as for the duration of the whole Event.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Each Horse keeps the same identification number provided by the OC on arrival throughout the Event. It is compulsory that this number be worn by the Horse while actively competing and at any time while working in the exercise and schooling areas or being hand walked (from the time of their arrival until the end of the Event) so that they can be identified by all Officials including the Stewards. Failure to display this number incurs first warning and, in the case of a repeated offence, a fine imposed on the Athlete by the Ground Jury. EARPHONES Earphones and other electronic communication devices are not permitted at Dressage Competitions whilst competing and is penalized by elimination. These devices are permitted during training and warm-up. HORSE DECORATIONS Any decorations of the Horse with extravagant items, such as ribbons or flowers in the mane or/and tale is strictly forbidden. Normal plaiting of the Horse s mane and tail is allowed. GADGETS Martingales. Breast plates, bit guards, any running reins, any boots or bandages, blinkers, ear muffs and any others, are under penalty of elimination, strictly forbidden. Ear muffs are allowed during prize giving ceremonies. SALUTE Athletes must take the reins in one (1) hand at the salute. OUTSIDE ASSISTANCE Except Walk Trot Children classes, Any outside help by voice, signs, etc. is considered as illegal or unauthorized assistance to an Athlete or to his Horse. An Athlete or Horse receiving positive assistance must be Eliminated. BELL After the sound of bell, the Athletes must enter the arena at A within fourty five (45) seconds. Horse and Rider combination not entering the Arena within 90 seconds after the bell will be eliminated. PRIZE-GIVING Participation in the prize-giving ceremony is compulsory. The Athletes who does not enter the prize-giving ceremony will loose the classification and all prizes (rosette, prize in kind, prize money, etc.) Exception to this rules can be granted by the Ground Jury at specific cases. Dress and saddlery have to be the same as in the Competition, however BLACK or WHITE BANDAGES are allowed. Rosettes should be placed on the Horses bridles prior to prize-giving.

APPENDIX-1 GENERAL RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER PLEASE read carefully before signing this form must be signed before you compete In consideration for my permission to participate in the Kavaleri Equestrian Cup (competition name) organized by the ('the Organizers') at the, Jalan Kolonel Masturi km.7, Parongpong, Bandung Barat on 25-28 January 2018 (dates), I agree: i ii iii that prior to participating in any event, I will inspect the facilities and equipment to be used by me during that event; that I understand that I may be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result from my actions or inactions, but also from the intentional or negligent acts of others, from the rules of competition and their application, from the condition of the premises and/or equipment, and from other causes now unknown or not now reasonably foreseeable; and to fully release, discharge and hold harmless the Organizer and its respective members, directors, agents, employees, associates, staff and independent contractors from any and all claims, actions, liabilities and causes of action which I may now have or which may accrue as a result of or incidental to my voluntary participation in any of the sporting or non sporting activities incidental to or in connection with the Competition. And Acknowledgement of Rules and Regulations In consideration for my permission to participate in the Kavaleri Equestrian Cup (competition name) organized by the ('the Organizers') at the, Jalan Kolonel Masturi km.7, Parongpong, Bandung Barat on 25-28 January 2018 (dates), I agree: I ii iii iv to abide by all the rules and regulations of the Organizer as in force from time to time; to refrain from consuming alcoholic beverages or using any substances in a manner which would decrease or impair my level of performance during my participation in the sporting activities of the Competition; to refrain from unsportsmanlike conduct or any conduct bringing discredit upon the Competition including without limitation physically or verbally assaulting or abusing any official, competitor, spectator, volunteer or any person involved in the conduct and management of the Competition and that any such conduct may meet with expulsion form the Competition and appropriate criminal or civil action against me; and to be filmed, photographed or interviewed as a participant in the Competition when requested to do so by any officer or official of the Organizer. I acknowledge that I execute this 'General Release of Liability and Waiver' and Acknowledgement of rules and Regulations freely and voluntary, and do not rely on any inducements, promises or representations made by the aforementioned organization or individuals involved in the Competition, or any person associated in any way with the Competition.
