THE BENFICA/COERVER COACHING YOUTH FOOTBALL GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP In February 2016, Coerver Coaching signed a Youth Football Global Partner agreement with SL Benfica, one of the world s most admired and successful professional clubs. Through this partnership, selected Coerver players have the opportunity to be fully integrated into the Benfica Academy for 1month elite player training programs. Coerver Coaching will also collaborate with Benfica on projects to improve the football experience of young players worldwide. On a daily basis the players get the full Benfica Academy experience and play up to 8 matches against top-class opponents. The players are handled everyday by the clubs academy coaches and the Benfica Lab to help provide a true gauge of where they are in their development. The signing of this agreement with Coerver Coaching will allow Benfica to bring a top coaching methodology to further develop our club academy, and to bring Coerver players to be inspired and further developed at our club. BENFICA/COERVER COACHING INTERNATIONAL ELITE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM The International Elite Development Program provides up to 20 elite-level players per squad, ages 12-17, from around the world the unique opportunity to be totally immersed in the world-renown Benfica Academy program; with full player supervision from arrival to departure. Players will form what becomes the 9th and 10th Youth squads at the academy for one whole month only. The complete Benfica Staff includes only coaches that take the benfica competition youth teams at u12 up to u17 and the full support of the Benfica world renowned Lab. This Benfica/Coerver Coaching program is conducted purely as a top class football education experience. While the program is conducted by the official Benfica academy head competition youth coaches.. TOP CLASS FOOTBALL TRAINING Full training schedule and games program Players will receive detailed reports from The Benfica Lab. LANGUAGE/CULTURAL EDUCATION Tutorial support from the existing Benfica education and welfare department. Portuguese or English language classes 2 or 3 times per week. Strict allocated study time program every day and are asked to have work set from their schools. 4**** ACCOMODATION Full board in one of the best hotels in the Lisbon region. All Transfers between the accommodation and Caixa Futebol Campus. EXCELLENT HEALTH AND NUTRITION Menus prepared under the supervision of SL Benfica s Department of Nutrition. Medical/Sports Insurance. Nutritional intake will be monitored, with a full progress report at the end of the program. HIGH QUALITY ADIDAS KIT Participants will receive for training only SL Benfica Training Kit provided daily by the club and laundered. In 2014/15, it was the club with the most international players in youth teams 50. 18 youth teams players were integrated in the B team of Benfica s professional football. Voted Best Academy in the World in 2015. CAIXA FUTEBOL CAMPUS Providing all the needs of an elite club, SL Benfica s Caixa Futebol Campus will be at your disposal, having: 9 Football fields 62 Bedrooms 16 Dressing rooms 2 Auditoriums 2 Gymnasiums 1 Conference room 1 Dining room 1 Lounge (with internet and games) Technical and medical offices.
