Thank you for your interest in Rideau View. We take pride in Rideau View being first and foremost a Golfers Golf Club. The golf course, game improvement facilities and instructional programs are our top priority. They have been created to enable all members to enjoy the game of golf, whether they are juniors getting their first taste of the game, seasoned competitive veterans, or families. Consistent with our goal to be the top golf experience in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, Rideau View allocates close to $1 million annually for maintenance and improvements to our golf course and practice facilities. Under the watchful eyes of Gord MacMillan, our Course Superintendent for 30 years, and consulting golf architect Ian Andrew, Rideau View has earned a coveted place in SCOREGolf Magazine s Top 100 Courses in Canada! A big part of enjoying the game for many golfers is working on their game and improving. Paul Sherratt (Head Professional), Matt Robinson (Director of Instruction and Program Development), and Tim Sewter (Assistant Professional), have designed a full suite of game improvement programs for juniors, adults and families. Six years ago, Rideau View invested in a $250,000 state-of-the-art Teaching and Club Fitting Centre to give Paul and his staff the tools necessary for a first-class learning experience. While golf is our priority, being a part of the Rideau View community also means the opportunity to enjoy social activities every month throughout the season, including our popular Saturday Nine & Dines, mixed golf/dinner events, themed dinners, like our Beer/Wine Food Pairing Evening, and much more. The cornerstone of our social activities and clubhouse experience is our Food & Beverage team, led by Taylor Kohlman, our Clubhouse Manager, and Head Chef Tyler MacLeod. Their creations range from tasty classics to imaginative offerings that would please any foodie. At Rideau View, we understand many golfers in their 20s, 30s and 40s have busy schedules and financial demands that can stress personal and family budgets. Tuition, summer jobs, embarking on new careers, buying homes and growing families can all impact the ability to afford recreational activities such as golf. In recognition of this reality, we introduced two creative concepts to our membership structure two years ago. First, we created a group of new Family categories to provide parents the chance to golf with their kids and enjoy learning the game together. The Family categories have three tiers for the parents to satisfy a range of golfing needs. Regardless of the Family category, Junior members play for free. As a result, Family memberships have increased to more than 35 families over the past two years: that works out to 70 parents and 66 juniors!

Second, we created a progressive dues schedule with small, easily absorbed increments each year, from our Junior membership through age 46 in our Senior category. Without the worry of a large increase of thousands of dollars in any given year or over a short period, this makes financial planning for membership at a top tier private golf club much easier to incorporate into your personal budget. More than 130 Intermediates at Rideau View are already taking advantage of this member-friendly feature which allows them to make membership at one of Canada s top private clubs a reality. I firmly believe if you take the time to experience firsthand what Rideau View has to offer, you will understand why our members are so proud to be part of a welcoming community built on the foundation of a first class, immaculately maintained golf course. Come by the club and allow me to take you on a personal tour of #rideauviewlife and explore our various membership options that could make Rideau View a part of your life. Please contact me to arrange your tour. Regards, Steve Ducat General Manager Rideau View Golf Club 613-692-3442 x102 gm@rideauview.com

2018 MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES FULL-PLAYING GOLF MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES Rideau View s fully privileged membership categories are age-based, as follows: SENIOR 40 years of age or more as of Jan 1, 2018 INTERMEDIATE C 33 to 39 years of age as of Jan 1, 2018 INTERMEDIATE B 26 to 32 years of age as of Jan 1, 2018 INTERMEDIATE A 19 to 25 years of age as of Jan 1, 2018 Each category has full golfing privileges, without any tee time restrictions. FAMILY MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES Rideau View is recognized as having one of the leading Junior Golf programs in the country. In support of our Junior initiatives, the club introduced three new categories in 2015, to provide parents with an opportunity to join Rideau View and spend time golfing with their children as well as learning the game together as a family. As a result, family membership increased significantly over the past season. These Family categories are as follows: FAMILY-1 In the FAMILY-1 membership category, both parents are full-playing members and have one or more children that are Junior members. Junior members are generally from 8 to 18 years of age. Both parents can participate in all leagues and tournaments and do not have any restrictions on when they can golf or on the number of rounds played. The Initiation Fee for new FAMILY-1 Members would be the fee listed in the following MEMBERSHIP FEES section, based on the age of the oldest parent. The Annual Membership Fees would be based on the appropriate 2017 Couples rates, which are also listed in the MEMBERSHIP FEES section. One of the benefits of being a Family member at Rideau View is that there are no Annual Membership Fees for their Junior Members. An additional benefit for new FAMILY-1 Members is that they will receive three (3) complimentary Family Coaching Clinics from our professional staff at the start of the 2017 season (description follows). FAMILY-2 In the FAMILY-2 membership category, one parent is a full-playing member and one parent is a limited golf member, and they have one or more children that are Junior members. Junior members are generally from 8 to 18 years of age. The full-playing member can participate in all leagues and tournaments and does not have any restrictions on when he/she can golf or on the number of rounds played. The Limited Golf Parent can play a maximum of 20 rounds, and can play in all club tournaments and leagues. Each league or tournament round will count towards their 20-round maximum. The Limited Golf Parent can golf after 1:00PM on weekends and holidays, which is the same policy that applies to all Junior members. The Limited Golf Parent can also book any open tee times before 1:00PM on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, after the draw has been completed.

The Initiation Fee for new FAMILY-2 Members would be the fee listed in the following MEMBERSHIP FEES section, based on the age of the oldest parent. One of the benefits of being a Family member at Rideau View is that there are no Annual Membership Fees for their Junior Members. An additional benefit for new FAMILY-2 Members is that they will receive three (3) complimentary Family Coaching Clinics from our professional staff at the start of the 2017 season (description follows). FAMILY-3 In the FAMILY-3 membership category, both parents are limited golf members, and have one or more children that are Junior members. Junior members are generally from 8 to 18 years of age. The Limited Golf Parents can play a combined maximum of 40 rounds during a season, and can play in all club tournaments and leagues. Each league or tournament round will count towards their combined 40- round maximum. The Limited Golf Parents can golf after 1:00PM on weekends and holidays, which is the same policy that applies to all Junior members. The Limited Golf Parents can also book any open tee times before 1:00PM on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, after the draw has been completed. An additional benefit for new FAMILY-3 Members is that they will receive three (3) complimentary Family Coaching Clinics from our professional staff at the start of the 2017 season (description follows). LIMITED GOLF SPOUSE/PARTNER MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY In addition to the new Family membership categories we introduced in 2015, we also introduced a new category called LIMITED GOLF SPOUSE/PARTNER. This is intended to provide couples, who do not have Junior-aged children interested in golf, with an opportunity to be members of Rideau View, even though one partner is interested in only limited golfing privileges. As a result, we have had many spouses/partners join in the last three seasons! This new membership category will allow that individual to play a reasonable, yet limited amount of golf, at a cost effective fee, while their spouse joins as a full-playing member. The LIMITED GOLF SOCIAL/PARTNER member can play a maximum of 20 rounds, as well as the Opening and Closing Tournaments, and can golf after 1:00PM on weekends and holidays. The LIMITED GOLF SOCIAL/PARTNER member can also book any open tee times before 1:00PM on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, after the draw has been completed. The Initiation Fee for the Full-Playing Member would be the fee listed in the INITIATION FEE section above, based on the age of that individual. There is no Initiation Fee for the SOCIAL SOCIAL/PARTNER. An additional benefit for the LIMITED GOLF SPOUSE/PARTNER Member is that they will receive two (2) complimentary Adult Golf Camps from our professional staff (description follows).

FAMILY COACHING CLINICS Three 1-Hour Clinics for Families The Family Clinic is a great way for families to embrace the game and all its challenges together. The purpose of the Family Coaching Series is twofold: 1) to provide each member of the family with a solid foundation, both physically and emotionally, and 2) to identify an appropriate starting point in an individual performance plan. The Family Clinic Series is an innovative addition to all of the other benefits enjoyed by members of Rideau View. The format of each clinic will be free flowing, in an environment where the participants will be encouraged to ask questions and direct the content of the clinic. Families will be encouraged to have the freedom to guide their Coach to discuss elements of the game that are applicable to their competency level with the hope that each Family will enjoy a special and personal clinic. This will provide each Family with an individual and personalized experience. Clinic 1 The 1 st clinic will focus on both Short Putting and Long Putting Skill Development. Each participant will understand the Fundamentals as they apply to the shortest and most important strokes in the game of Golf! Posture, Stance and Stroke will all be discussed and experienced. Skill development in Putting will be demonstrated through drills, games and Family competitions that will surely produce smiles, laughs, and an environment where learning is optimal. Clinic 2 During our 2 nd Clinic, we will explore shots that take place very close to the green, which include Chipping and Pitching. Each Family member will be encouraged to identify what type of shot suits them best from similar situations, so they may observe there is no single right way to play ANY shot. Club selection and shot type, along with the fundamentals of Stance, Ball Position and Stroke will all be experienced through games, drills, and teaching aids. Clinic 3 In the 3 rd Family Clinic, we will move into our state-of-the-art Performance Center. Each member of the family will have an opportunity to gain an understanding of their own personal swing using our TrackMan swing and ball flight analysis system. Fundamentals of the Golf Swing will focus on routines that occur before and after each shot. Physical routines will include establishing a Target, Alignment to the Target, Distance from the Ball, and Ball Position --- thereby embracing the significant importance of these often overlooked areas of the game that can otherwise prevent improvement. TrackMan Data will be sent to each Family member following the clinic, which is a wonderful tool to have in establishing an individual performance plan.

ADULT GOLF CAMP Two 1-Day Camps for Beginning Adult Golfers The purpose of the Adult Golf Camp is twofold: 1) to provide individuals that are relatively new to golf with a solid foundation, both physically and emotionally, and 2) to identify an appropriate starting point in an individual performance plan. The Adult Golf Camp is an innovative addition to all of the other benefits enjoyed by members of Rideau View. The Adult Day Camp will be a full 7.5 hour day and will have a 3:1 student/coach ratio. Morning training sessions will focus on the Fundamentals involved in all the facets of the game. With a primary focus on the Short Game, our new members can expect to gain the competency and confidence involved in an area of the game that constitutes over 60% of all shots. Our new members will gain insight on Green Reading and Putting, along with very short game shots around the greens, which include Chipping and Pitching. Participants will also be provided with Full Swing input applicable to their own individual style and physical attributes. After lunch and a warm up, we will proceed to the golf course to play 9 holes. Each student will be provided with an assessment of their game in report form and by the end of the Camp, will have an understanding of etiquette and general rules of the game.

2018 MEMBERSHIP FEES Similar to most private golf clubs, Rideau View has three fee components for most membership categories: 1) Initiation Fee, 2) Annual Membership Fees and 3) a Food & Beverage Minimum. 1) INITIATION FEES The 2018 Initiation Fees are listed below: SENIOR (40 years of age or more as of Jan 1, 2017) $10,000 INTERMEDIATE C (33 to 39 years of age as of Jan 1, 2017) INTERMEDIATE B (26 to 32 years of age as of Jan 1, 2017) There are no additional Initiation Fee charges for spouses/partners. With respect to Initiation Fees, Rideau View offers an extended payment plan option, which allows for payment in equal annual amounts over 15 years. This annual installment is due in May of each year. Perhaps the most important aspect of our current Initiation Fee policies is that if a new member selects the extended payment plan and, for whatever reason, needs to resign prior to the completion of the 15-year payment term, they are NOT required to pay the outstanding amount. 2) ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES The 2018 Annual Membership Fees are listed in the 2018 Fee Schedule and Intermediate Fee Schedule, following this letter. This fee includes Club Storage/Cleaning and Locker/Supplies. It should be noted that Rideau View does not have any capital assessment levies. 3) F&B MINIMUMS The 2018 F&B Minimums are listed below: SENIOR (40 years of age or more as of Jan 1, 2018) per person INTERMEDIATE C (33 to 39 years of age as of Jan 1, 2018) per person INTERMEDIATE B (26 to 32 years of age as of Jan 1, 2018) per person FAMILY-1 $1,200 per family FAMILY-2 $900 per family FAMILY-3 per family LIMITED GOLF SPOUSE/PARTNER per person SOCIAL $150 per person
