Rider must be 15 years or over on 1 st January. To take part in this class, horses must NOT have won an open class (inc SEIB/HOYS, RoR Tattersalls Show Series Qualifier, TARRA Ridden, RoR AMATEUR Ridden Show Series Qualifier or any other open class except RoR TBA Challenge Show Series classes. Horses will be de-noviced after 3 novice wins or any open win, but is still eligible to compete at the RoR National Show that August. Horses should be ridden in a snaffle, pelham or simple double bridle. Horses should be plaited. The first three go forward to the championship at the RoR National Show at Aintree in August 2017 or 2018 for shows after 1 st August 2017 to the 31 st July 2018. All entries MUST be registered with the RoR and have RACED in GB. The class will be run under the rules of RoR. Horses will NOT be ridden by the judge; each horse to complete an individual show or no longer than 1 ½ minutes to include the following movements: Walk, Trot, Canter showing change of leg, extended canter, halt and stand, walk off on long rein. Horses will be stripped for conformation. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force. Please be aware that the show will split the class on the horse s last run in a race (NH or Flat) should the entries exceed 20. Please mark your entry form accordingly. Competitors must wear a safety/kite mark hard hat with a chinstrap. Racing injuries and blemishes are NOT ignored in this series. 402 LOCAL RIDING HORSE over 148cms, restricted to exhibitors residing within 30 miles radius of Osmotherley. Not ridden by the judge. Judged under BSHA/BSPS rules but need not be members. 403 OPEN COB CLASS 4 YEARS OLD & OVER, ANY HEIGHT TO BE JUDGED AS COBS IRISH DRAUGHT HORSE SOCIETY PLEASE NOTE:- The following classes are affiliated to the Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) and only horses registered with or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) and in the correct ownership are eligible for entry. Registration numbers to be stated on the entry form and entries will be sent to the IDHS (GB) prior to the Show to confirm eligibility.

404 RIDDEN IRISH DRAUGHT OR IRISH DRAUGHT SPORT HORSE 4 years old and over, stallion (see below), mare or gelding registered on the Irish Draught Breed Registers (main studbook) or ID Sport Horse Registers. (Class may be split if sufficient entries) All competing STALLIONS must be inspected or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) and classified as RID (GB), ID Class 1 or ID Class 2 OR Registered Irish Draught Sport Horse and must display a red, white and blue ribbon in their tails. All STALLIONS must be bitted and shown by an experienced handler of 18 years of age or over. This show is a Qualifier for the Blue Chip & Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) 2,000 Challenge. The highest placed horse (not already qualified) from the above class 404 that is registered or eligible for registration on the Irish Draught or Irish Draught Sport Horse Register, i.e. with a minimum of 25% proven Irish Draught breeding, will qualify for the Final of the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) 2,000 Challenge. Horses need not be registered with the Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) to qualify but must be on the IDHS(GB) Registers by the time of the Championship, which will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show on 19 th 20 th August 2017 at Arena UK, Allington, Grantham, Lincolnshire. NG32 2EF. N.B: A horse may only qualify for the Final once, regardless of the type or number of classes won, placed in or entered. Each qualifier will receive a card and a 10 voucher from Blue Chip. Qualifiers are required to complete an online form at www.idhsgb.com to inform the IDHS (GB) that they have qualified for the Final. In the Final, the Champion will be awarded 1,000 prize money, a trophy and a Blue Chip rug. The Reserve Champion will be awarded 500 and 3rd to 7th inclusive will be awarded 100 each. In addition, the highest placed Pure Bred Irish Draught will receive a trophy and 100, the highest placed 158cm (15.2hh) and under will receive a trophy and 50 and the highest placed Sport Horse will receive a trophy and 50 and the highest placed *Amateur Produced and Ridden Horse will receive 50 and a silver salver and a rug. SPECIAL INCENTIVE CARDS The Irish Draught Horse Society (GB) will award Special Incentive Cards to the highest placed Irish Draught Pure Bred or Irish Draught Sport Horse in Class 403 (Open Cob), Class 404 (Ridden ID Pure Bred & ID Sport Horse) Class 405 (Ridden Hunter). To be eligible, exhibits must be registered with or overstamped by the IDHS (GB) on either their Irish Draught Breed Registers or Irish Draught Sport Horse Registers. Registration numbers to be stated on the entry form. 405 RIDDEN HUNTER 4 YEARS & UP, ANY HEIGHT Winner of Class 405 will be awarded The Eric Wilson Challenge Cup, to be held for one year. A pony is not eligible to compete if, before 1st January in the current year, it has done any of the following: i. Won an open NPS affiliated mixed M&M Ridden class ii. Won a Ridden class at an Olympia, Horse of the Year Show or RIHS qualifying round iii. Qualified for Horse of the Year Show or RIHS Ridden classes iv. Qualified for the M&M Novice or Intermediate Ridden final at the NPS Summer Championship show (N.B. Ponies can compete as novices in this competition for two consecutive years provided they do not submit an entry to the final in the first year). v. Qualified for the M&M Ridden Championship final at Olympia in previous years vi. If a pony qualifies for Horse of the Year Show or RIHS in its second year it is immediately denoviced and cannot compete in the Picton Final. BSPS CLASSIC SECURITY UK LTD CHALLENGE This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Challenge. Animals must qualify for the Challenge by attending any B.S.P.S affiliated show and completing in the appropriate class. THE BSPS PREMIER LEAGUE This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Premier League the 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd & 4 th placed ponies in the Lead Rein and First Ridden, Mixed Height Open Show Pony, Lead Rein Hunter Type, Mixed Height Open Show Hunter Pony. BSPS BLACK COUNTRY SADDLES BEST RIDER This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Best Rider of the Year The Best Rider in the Open Lead Rein, Open First Ridden Show Pony, FR & Ridden, the Cradle Stakes and Nursery Stakes, the Working Hunter Pony will receive a Card and qualify for the final at the BSPS Summer Championships Show. BSPS CHAMPIONSHIPS This show is a qualifier for the 2017 BSPS Championships, to be held at the Arena UK. The 1 st & 2 nd prize-winners only in classes 415, 416 & 447,, and the 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd & 4 th prize-winners from class 414, 417 & 452 AND 1 st, 2 nd & 3 rd prizewinners from class 446 will qualify for the BSPS Championships Show, provided the animal is registered in accordance with rule 23 & 28 and ridden by a BSPS member. NATIONAL PONY SOCIETY A Silver Medal Rosette is offered by the National Pony Society for the best registered pony owned by an NPS Qualifying or Life member in the M&M Ridden section. Membership cards must be presented in the ring to receive the medal and/or the qualification. NPS Qualifying Rounds: These classes are judged under the Rules of the NPS. Ponies must be registered in the main body of their respective Mountain & Moorland Stud Books. Part breds are not eligible for Mountain & Moorland Classes. Qualifying rounds for most NPS competitions are open to ponies owned by NPS members and nonmembers but only ponies owned by adult NPS Qualifying or Life members are eligible to qualify for the final of the competition at the NPS Summer Championship Show at Malvern August 2018 The highest placed pony, if owned by an NPS member, in each class will qualify for the final. Qualification may pass down to third place if the first and second ponies are already qualified. NPS/Rosettes Direct Home Produced Ridden Championship - Riders of Home Produced ponies (see definition in the NPS Rules Book) can wear a white arm band in classes where this is indicated. These ponies, if owned by NPS members, are then eligible to qualify for the final at the NPS Summer Championship Show.
