2016-17 SEASON

INTRODUCTION Elite Soccer Academy SWFL (ESA) is a U.S. Club Soccer affiliated organization. After helping 3 clubs in SWFL over a period of 3 years forming over 40 teams, our Soccer Operations Director John Robinson, ex English Premiership & International soccer player with over 15 years experience, has decided to start his own club. Our philosophy, direction & vision will come from John s vast experience as a players, & with being involved in SWFL. ESA philosophy is to focus mainly on tournament play, and being able to offer the US Club Soccer Of SWFL League where teams play against other local competitive teams, and competing in State Cup. Our approach allows for greater focus on training between tournaments, providing families with more palatable scheduling. JR was the first person to implement this philosophy in the 2015-16 season here in S WF L. Understandably parents & players were concerned on the number of games but as you will see (on the next page) that was not the case. ESA will introduce an Academic requirement component for their older teams, as ESA understands the importance of academics for our players. Ultimately ESA focus is to obtain College Scholarships for our players and develop their soccer skills as well as their leadership qualities that will lead to whatever pathway they choose, in which Elite Soccer Academy have connections in all these areas. ESA have partnered with three major organizations. English Premier League Club, West Ham United as the official partnered club in SWFL, Sports Recruiting USA the worlds leading college recruitment agency and Global image Sports (GIS) who have exclusive partnerships with top European soccer clubs, and provide exclusive soccer tours for their partnered clubs. These partnerships will bring huge opportunities for our players, teams & coaching staff like no other in SWFL. 2015-16 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS The partnership that JR formed with Sports Recruiting USA, eleven out of thirteen high school senior players received a total of over $1,200,000 worth of scholarships, inside of ten months involved within the college program. All these players were not on any college coaches radar prior. No other competitive club within SWFL can offer the college package than we do.. 2015-16 AMOUNT OF GAMES Through the same 37 week program teams had the opportunity to play the following amount of games B-U9 40 B-10 42 B-11 41 B-12 37 B-13 43 BU15/U16 34 B-18 32 G-U9 26 G-U11 24 G-U13 34 ELITE SOCCER ACADEMY SWFL

RECREATIONAL U6-U14: Our Recreational program s goal is to be able to provide a stable platform in which the children develop their soccer skills, in an environment structured around their enjoyment, first & foremost. Coaches will be volunteers but we will have coaches clinics prior to the season & help throughout. Our philosophy as a recreational soccer program, is to firstly act as an introduction to the sport, and then as a developmental program trying to teach the fundamental techniques, to a point where the player is now moved past the recreational level, and could move into our full competitive Academy program or if they are not ready whether commitment level or ability they have the option of our 1st tier Pre-Academy program. There will be a fall & spring season. PRE-ACADEMY U8-U12: Our Pre-Academy program is our first tier of competitive soccer, and since it ahs been introduced over the past 2 years we have been able to form over 30 teams. After participating in the program players and teams have further advanced into the Academy program. This program is designed for those players from recreational leagues or early competitive players who have showed signs of improvement and want more help with their development through professional coaching. Players will be selected via official tryouts, based upon talent, with a maximum number of players per team being adhered to. Teams will have the opportunity to play against our other pre-academy teams from our other SWFL locations, and the program will finish with the teams attending a fully sanctioned tournament. This program is a great for parents to understand the full competitive program, prior to committing and as well as the coaching to staff to evaluate the players.
