Tuesday, March 27th Hotel check-in is 3:00 p.m., but registration for golf will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Chopin Meeting Rooms (all of Encore s meeting space and ballrooms are on the main level of the hotel). Be sure to check in with Rite Aid staff to confirm your participation in Wednesday s golf outing and to pick up your gift package. Wednesday, March 28th On Wednesday morning, comfortable motor coaches will transport you to one of the outstanding golf courses selected especially for this year s golf event. There you ll have enough time to enjoy a hearty, hot breakfast as well as time to warm up on the driving range and putting green before a shotgun start. As we go to press, a few courses are still under consideration for the 2018 program. Several golf clubs that have been stand out favorites over the years will definitely be on the roster, including... Scenic and challenging Cascata Golf Club was designed by the renowned course architect Rees Jones. Cascata means waterfall in Italian and features a 418-ft. waterfall that flows from a steep mountainside, tumbling over mammoth boulders and cascading into a river that roars past the clubhouse. Rest assured that every course associated with the Rite Aid Charity Golf annual event will be among the best in greater Las Vegas, and is guaranteed to offer a memorable day of golf and camaraderie for every player. Following your outing at one of these acclaimed golf clubs, your foursome will be transported back to Encore for our Awards Dinner. There you ll meet up with friends in the Encore Ballroom to compare scores and replay each hole s challenges and triumphs a fitting end to this very special day. Reflection Bay Golf Club, situated along the shores of picturesque Lake Las Vegas, has made a comeback to reclaim its position as one of the loveliest courses in the area. Originally created in 1998, it is an awardwinning Jack Nicklaus Signature Design course, the only such golf club in the state of Nevada. And finally, Southern Highlands is an elite club that limits its membership to no more than 300 golfers, by invitation only. This challenging course is one of only four in the world co-designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his son, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS REFELCTION BAY
WEDNESDAY S SCHEDULE 7:30 a.m. Luxury motor coaches begin loading for transport to the courses. Boarding times will vary according to course with specific information provided at Registration on Tuesday. A course concierge will greet you to ensure that you re on the correct bus for your course, and to assist with loading your clubs on the bus. If you ordered rentals, your rented clubs will be on your cart at the course awaiting your arrival. 8:30 a.m. A full, hot breakfast buffet at the course will be open until it s time to report to your carts. Don t forget to check to see that your clubs (whether rented or carried with you on the motor coach) are on your cart, then relax and warm up on the driving range before our shotgun start. 10:00 a.m. Play begins! Look for skill contests and chances to win fabulous hole-in-one prizes on par three holes. Complimentary beverages and snacks will be available on the beverage carts, and barbecued sandwiches will be served at the turn throughout the day. Motor coaches will transport you back to the hotel after play. 5:00 p.m. Meet everyone back in the Encore Ballroom to compare scores, enjoy cocktails and dinner, and have the chance to win one of the amazing raffle prizes that are a signature of this alwaysmemorable event.
