Please read at your leisure and if you have any further questions do not hesitate to e-mail us. stephen@racesocal.com Stephen Heighton Company History: In preparation for the 2004 racing season Stephen Heighton made the voyage from England to Southern California with nothing but an address to find and a kit bag. He stayed in an RV on a friend s driveway, rented a CR250 and borrowed vehicles to get to the tracks when he could. With the fantastic weather and the wealth of great tracks it was immediately obvious that California was the place to come for every motocross enthusiast. Stephen returned to California in January 2005 for another 3 months of winter training and during this time he thought there must be a better way for motocross riders to come and experience California. Whilst in preparation for the 2006 season he rented a house in Lake Elsinore and invited riders from all over the world to come and stay. After a while riders started asking about renting bikes so naturally Stephen rented out his practice bike and from here Race SoCal was born. Now 7 years later Race SoCal has 15 bikes for rent and can accommodate 20 people in their new 5 acre facility. In 2011/2012 90% of the trips sold out and over 300 riders from all over the world came to stay at the number 1 motocross destination in California. We expect 2012/2013 to be even busier!
