The Development Academy is revolutionizing female soccer in the United States and will soon become the primary source of US National Team, Collegiate and Professional players. In Houston, the best players, coaches and facilities have aligned forming a program to proudly represent Houston in the nation s best league and player development platform. WHYDA: ü Supported and sanctioned by the U.S. Soccer Federation ($4 million invested annually). Full time U.S. Technical Advisors work directly with DA Member Clubs ü 50% of DA Conference games and 100% of DA Showcase games will be observed by U.S. National Team Scouts. ü The Girls DA will be the primary provider of U.S. Youth National Team players, college scholarship athletes and professional players in the country, mirroring the thriving Boys DA program. ü Mandates implemented for coaching licensing, playing facilities, individual player development evaluations, video analysis, physical performance development, periodization and injury prevention.
