JURISDICTION: 2.1 The above-mentioned NATIONAL OPEN meeting has been authorised by Motorcycling NSW Limited who have issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit Number 6/17/O/22645 and is open to holders of current MA Senior and Junior Competition and One Event Licences. 2.2 This meeting incorporates round 1 of the NSW Motorcycle Road Race Championships excluding sidecars. 2.3 One Event Licences MUST be applied for PRIOR to the meeting. 2.4 To be eligible for points in the Honda MCA Clubman Road Race Series you must be a member of St George MCC, Bears, PCRA or NCRR and proof of membership must be provided.

Approved 18 th December 2017 2.5 The meeting will be held in accordance with the current Manual of Motorcycle Sport (MoMS), these Supplementary Regulations, the By-Laws of Motorcycling NSW and any final instructions. BY ENTERING THIS MEETING ALL PARTIES AGREE TO COMPLY WITH THESE RULES, REGULATIONS, BY-LAWS AND INSTRUCTIONS. 3. ENTRIES: 3.1 Entries open forthwith and close at midnight on 19/01/2018. 3.2 For inclusion in the printed program entries need to be received by 12/01/2018. 3.3 In the case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all or any part of the entry fee may be retained by the promoter, if such retention is approved by Motorcycling NSW. 3.4 Only entries received on the official entry form that are accompanied by the correct fee will be accepted. 3.5 LATE ENTRIES MAY BE ACCEPTED OR REJECTED AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE PROMOTER. 3.6 Riders withdrawing from the meeting will have entry fees refunded (less administration fee) or transferred if entry cancelled by 7pm on Friday 2/02/18. 4. INSURANCE: 4.1 The National Capital Benefits Scheme provides basic cover for death and permanent disability. 4.2 Personal Accident and Ambulance Insurance is the responsibility of the individual. 4.3 IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT COMPETITORS GIVE DUE CONSIDERATION TO TAKING OUT SUCH INSURANCE COVER. 5. MEDICAL SERVICES: 5.1 Medical services will be provided by Ambulance Service Australia who will be in attendance from 9am until the completion of racing on both Saturday 3 RD and Sunday 4 th February. 1 FIV, 1 Ambulance, 2 Paramedics and 2 Rescue Medical Technicians. 6. ENTRY FEE: Early Bird: Standard: Additional Classes Credit Card Fee Paid by 12/01/2018 Paid by 19/01/2018 (not spare bike) Seniors $545 $590 $125 $10 Juniors $445 $490 $100 $10 6.1 Entry fees include garage hire 6.2 Payments by cash, cheque, direct transfer or credit cards are accepted (NO AMEX or DINERS CLUB). 6.3 Cheques and Money Orders are to be made payable to the St. George MCC. 6.4 ANY FEES FOR DISHONOURED CHEQUES WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ENTRANT. 7. ENTRY PASSES: 7.1 Each solo competitor will receive 3 entry passes. Additional passes can be purchased before the event for $15.00 each (limit 10 per competitor). Anyone over 16 years of age without an entry pass will be charged $20.00 at the gate. 8. CLASSES OF COMPETITION: 8.1 The following events will be held over 5 heats. The 2 nd heat will be a combined scratch and handicap for which separate results for first past the post and Handicap will be published. The Handicap result will be based on the combined result of all classes within the 2 nd heat. All events are included in Honda MCA NSW Clubman Road Race Series. Eligible riders will receive points for both Honda MCA Series and the NSW Championships. The following table is NOT the order in which the events will be run. RULES OF TIME HANDICAP RACES (Honda MCA Series only): 9.1 Series Points: The Time Handicap (THcp) Race is included in Honda MCA Clubman Road Race Series point scores. 9.2 Qualifying: Time Handicap is based on your fastest lap time from either practice, qualifying, or first heat. 9.3 Handicapping: Time Handicap is based on the slowest lap time of any competitor within that race multiplied by the number of laps for the Handicap event, i.e. your Time Handicap is the difference between the slowest lap time of any competitor and your lap time, multiplied by the number of laps in the Handicap event. 9.4 Races: The Time Handicap result will be based on the combined result of all Classes within the 2 nd Heat. 9.5 The Winner: The competitor with the fastest time Handicap race time will be the winner of each THcp race. 10. AWARDS AND SERIES PRIZES Honda MCA Only: 10.1 Round Prizes: At each round of the Honda MCA NSW Clubman Road Race Series the following prizes will be awarded. Total Recommended Retail Price (RRP) or Manufacturer s List Price (MLP) as at 1/12/2017 approximately $1,720. Place Sponsor Prize RRP/MLP 1 st MCA Products 2 nd MCA Products 3 rd MCA Products 4 th MCA Products 5 th Radguard Australia 6 th HEL Performance 7 th 9 th MCA Products Plus trophies for 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place in each event. 10.2 A competitor can win only one of each of the round prizes during 2018, i.e. during 2018 if you win the fabulous round 1 MCA Products then you are ineligible to win those same MCA products again during 2018, and so on for each prize. This rule is only applicable to round prizes and has no effect on the series prizes. 10.3 Round prizes will be awarded using the same scoring method as the series point score. 10.4 For round prizes Rule 10.10 does not apply. 10.5 Series Prizes: The Honda MCA NSW Clubman Road Race Series will award the following prizes with a total value as at 1/12/17 of approximately $16,409. Please note 1 st place will receive the 1 st place prize as listed. After that 2 nd place will have 1 st choice of the remaining prizes, 3 rd place will have 2 nd choice of the remaining prizes and so on. If, due to lack of entries, grades are combined, then the combined grades will be scored as one single event for this round. Series and class points and trophies will be awarded as per the finishing order for the combined grades. 10.8 Points in series will be awarded to only one event including THcp per competitor on the day. If more than one event is entered then the rider must nominate on the entry form which event will be scored for series awards. If an event is not nominated then the first Event that the rider participates in will be deemed to be nominated for series awards pointscores. 10.9 All scoring and points will be awarded as per the MoMS. In the event of a points tie, the MoMS will apply. If this tiebreaker does not break the tie, FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulation 1.28.7 will be applied. 10.10 In the event a tie in the series pointscore cannot be separated by the rules already included in the Supplementary Regulations, then the awarding of prizes will be determined by a Draw from the Hat. The names of the tied competitors will be placed in a container, a name will be drawn by a party acceptable to the tied competitors and the first name drawn will choose their prize from the available prizes and so on until all tied competitors have received a prize or all prizes have been awarded. 10.11 Each competitor must supply at least TWO Race Officials for Flag Marshals or Office Assistants for one FULL day each at any one or more of the rounds to be eligible for the series prizes. These must not be existing members of the St. George MCC Management Committee. Competitors who supply officials will receive a $20.00 discount voucher to be used at a following Honda MCA race meeting. 11. AWARDS AND PRIZES: State Titles 12. ENTRIES TO CONSTITUTE A CLASS: 12.1 For solos ten entries are required to constitute a class and classes will be limited to a maximum of 42 riders. 12.2 Should there be insufficient entries in any class, the decision to run, cancel, combine or separate classes will be at the sole discretion of the promoter. 12.3 The Promoter reserves the right of determining eligibility of any machine and to seed combination rider/machine into any event.

Approved 18 th December 2017 13. RACE FORMAT: 13.1 All races will be held over 7 laps. 13.2 Practice and qualifying will be run conjointly. Practice Starts will be permitted at the end of practice/qualifying ON SATURDAY ONLY. The practice start area will be on riders right just past Flag Point 15 (right hand hair pin turn) and will be designated by witches hats or similar. 13.3 SUNDAY there will be no Warm Ups. For the first round of events competitors will be given 1 sighting lap, grid up followed by one warm up lap then race start. NO PRACTICE STARTS will be permitted. 13.4 FORMULA STG: New Formula Combining the following classes: 400cc, 700cc Twin Sprint, 250cc Moto 3, 250cc 2 strokes (No 250ccGP), Up to 300cc and Over 300cc Supersport (As approved by MA), Single Cylinder machines and adding Bears F4 and F5. 14. MACHINES AND RIDERS: 14.1 All motorcycles, equipment and protective clothing must be scrutineered before entering the circuit and must comply with the current MoMS rules for road racing. Motorcycles and Protective Clothing may be scrutineered separately. 14.2 All machines will have their radiator fluid physically tested. Machines must be presented to scrutineering with their radiator cap OFF for fluid testing or they will immediately be sent to the back of the queue. Competitors MUST NOT USE any glycol based coolant. Water is the recommended fluid. If any bike is found to be non-compliant at scrutineering they will be given one chance to become compliant. Following this, at ANY stage of the meeting, if a bike is found to be non-compliant then the rider will immediately be excluded from the meeting without a refund. There are absolutely no exceptions. 14.3 Riders are responsible for re-lockwiring their radiator cap after a scrutineering check of fluids has been completed. 14.4 All riders MUST WEAR their leathers, boots and back protectors to scrutineering as well as presenting their helmet and gloves for inspection. Riders not wearing these items will be moved to the back of the queue. 14.5 Random spot checks will be performed by Scrutineers throughout the meeting and any bike found to be noncompliant will be excluded from the meeting without a refund. 15. RIDING NUMBERS: 15.1 Final riding numbers will be notified with the final instructions. Numbers are available for sale from the Race Secretary if required. 15.2 Competitors will be allocated their Motorcycling NSW Registered Riding Number or their preferred riding number if available, providing entry is received by the early bird closing date. 15.3 On all machines numbers and plates must comply with the MoMS. Front numbers are to be positioned in the centre (if possible) or towards the rider s left of the number plate. 16. GRID POSITIONS: 16.1 Grid positions for heat 1 of each event will be determined from qualifying. 16.2 Grid positions for each subsequent heat will be determined from the finishing order of the previous heat. 16.3 Any rider, who for whatever reason does not appear in the results of the previous heat, will be gridded at the rear of the grid for the next heat. 16.4 If a rider does not know their grid position, they must start the race from a position as instructed by the grid marshal. If, by not knowing their grid position, a rider causes a delay to the race start, they may be issued a penalty at the discretion of the Clerk of Course, which may include exclusion from the results of that race. 17. RIDERS BRIEFING: 17.1 A Riders Briefing will be held prior to the commencement of practice/qualifying. Attendance is compulsory. 17.2 Competitors must sign the attendance sheet at the conclusion of the Riders Briefing. 17.3 Failure to attend the Riders Briefing may result in a penalty. Such penalty may include exclusion from the meeting. 17.4 There will be an ADDITIONAL briefing for ALL D-Grade riders immediately following the main Riders Briefing. Attendance at this additional briefing is COMPULSORY for all D-Grade riders. 18. DRUG AND OR ALCOHOL TESTING: 18.1 As per the MoMS. 19. CODE OF CONDUCT: 19.1 As per the MoMS 20. Approved 18 th December 2017 21. CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION: 21.1 The events will be held on the 3.93 km hot mix bitumen GP circuit at Sydney Motorsport Park, Eastern Creek. Racing is in an anti- clockwise direction. 22. STARTS: 22.1 All races will be from a clutch start controlled by lights. If the lights fail, starts will be by the raising of the national flag. 22.2 Your sighting lap will also be your warm-up lap for all events except the first round on Sunday morning (as noted in 13.3) 22.3 Jump starts will incur a 10 second time penalty. 23. RACE FINISHES: 23.1 Will be signaled by a waved chequered flag. 24. NOISE: 24.1 All machines must comply with the requirements of the MoMS being 95dba at 30 metres. You will be given one opportunity to correct a noise problem. A second occurrence will result in exclusion from the meeting. 25. SPECIAL NOTES AND WARNINGS: 25.1 Machine impounding/examination/eligibility is at the discretion of the Steward/Clerk of Course. 25.2 Garages are available for the use of all competitors as allocated by the Race Secretary. 25.3 Fully enclosed footwear must be worn in pit lane. 25.4 No non-competitor under 16 years of age may enter pit lane. 25.5 No BBQs and/or naked flames are permitted in pits/garages. 25.6 Used tyres MUST BE REMOVED from the circuit. 25.7 There is to be no consumption of alcohol anywhere within the pit or paddock areas until the day s racing is completed. 26. D-GRADE RIDERS: 26.1 All D-grade riders, without exception, are required to wear a vest over their leathers as supplied by the Race Secretary. The supplied vest will be signed out with the allocation of the transponder and must be returned with the transponder at the conclusion of the event. 26.2 Should a D-Grade rider enter the track at any time without the supplied vest being worn they will be black flagged. They may also be given a penalty, which may include being excluded from the meeting without a refund. This applies to ALL track activity including practice, qualifying and racing.

DEED OF APPOINTMENT OF TEMPORARY GUARDIAN 1. I of am the parent or legal guardian of ( Minor ). The Minor wishes to enter ( Event ) conducted by the parties in Schedule 1 below ( Organisers ) on (date). I consent to the Minor s entry and participation in the Event. 2. I appoint and authorise ( Guardian ) as temporary guardian and custodian of the Minor, whilst the Minor has entered and participates in the Event (with the Guardian's acceptance of such appointment evidenced by their execution of this Deed below). The Guardian's appointment as Guardian under this Deed is of no effect in circumstances where I/we (the parent or legal guardian of the Minor) is/are in attendance at the Event (and will remain of no effect only for so long as I/we are in attendance at the Event). In those circumstances and for so long as I/we remain in attendance at the Event, I/we retain full legal responsibility for the Minor. 3. I acknowledge that motorcycle sport is dangerous and that by engaging in the sport and participating in the Event the Minor, takes and is exposed to certain risks and dangers including that: a) the Minor may be injured, physically or mentally, and may be killed; b) the Minor s machinery or equipment may be damaged, lost or destroyed; c) other competitors may ride dangerously or with lack of skill; d) track or event conditions may be hazardous and may vary without warning or predictability; e) the Organisers, officials, landowners/track operators and any agents or representatives of those in charge of the Event are frequently obliged to make decisions under pressure of time and/or events; f) any policy of insurance of or in respect of the Minor s life or physical or mental health may be voided; g) there may be no or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport of the Minor if injured; and h) entrants including the Minor have an obligation to themselves and to others to compete safely and within the rules of competition. 4. In consideration of the Organiser s accepting the Minor as an entrant in the Event I agree to indemnify the Guardian, the Organisers and each of them in the following manner: a) that the Minor participates in the race meeting at my sole risk and responsibility; b) that the Minor accepts the venue as it stands with all or any defects hidden or exposed; c) that I indemnify and hold harmless the Organisers, their respective servants, agents or officials against any actions or claims which may be made by the Minor or on his behalf or by other parties for or in respect of or arising out of the Minor s death or any injury loss or damage caused to the Minor or the Minor s machinery or equipment whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other manner whatsoever. 5. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISKS, DANGERS & OBLIGATIONS I ACKNOWLEDGE that: a) motorcycle sport is dangerous and that by engaging in the sport (whether as a competitor, recreational rider, coach, official or media) at the Meeting I take and am exposed to certain risks and dangers and am under certain obligations as follows: i) that I may be injured, physically or mentally, and may be killed; i) that my machinery or equipment may be damaged, lost or destroyed; ii) that competitors may ride dangerously or with a lack of skill; iv) that track or Event conditions may be hazardous and may vary without warning or predictability; v) that organisers, officials, landowners/track operators and any agents or representatives of those in charge of meetings are frequently obliged to make decisions under pressure of time/or events; vi) that any policy of insurance of or in respect of my life or physical or mental health may be voided; vii) that there may be no or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport of me if I am injured; vii) that I have an obligation to myself and to others to act safely and within the rules and regulations of MA; b) the Indemnitees do not make any warranty that the services at the Meeting will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in connection with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they are supplied; c) to the extent that any warranty is implied it is excluded to the full extent permitted by law; d) have voluntarily read and understood this warning and accept and assume the inherent risks in participating in the Event. 4. WARNING UNDER THE Australian Consumer and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic) Under the provisions of the Australian Consumer and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic) several conditions are implied into contracts for the supply of certain goods and services. These conditions mean that the supplier named on this form is required to ensure that the recreational services it supplies to you are: - rendered with due care and skill; - as fit for the purpose for which they are commonly bought as it is reasonable to expect in the circumstances; and - reasonably fit for any particular purpose or might reasonably be expected to achieve any result you have made known to the supplier. Under section 22N of the Australian Consumer and Fair Trading Act 2012 (Vic) the supplier is entitled to ask you to agree that these conditions do not apply to you. The release and indemnity provided by me in this declaration is in addition to, and will not in any way limit the application of, the conditions of sale attaching to tickets, conditions of entry, conditions of credentials or any other applicable terms or conditions in respect of the Event. 7. A term of this release and indemnity will not apply where the term contravenes the law of the relevant jurisdiction under which any legal action is legitimately taken however such terms are severable and do not invalidate the remaining terms. 8. MEDICAL I declare that I am and must continue to be medically and physically fit and able to participate in the Meeting. I will immediately notify MA in writing via my SCB of any change to my fitness and ability to participate. I understand and accept the Indemnitees will continue to rely upon this declaration as evidence of my fitness and ability to participate. 9. I acknowledge and agree that if required, the Indemnitees (or any of them) may arrange medical or hospital treatment (including ambulance transportation) for me. I authorise such actions being taken by the Indemnitees and agree to meet all costs associated with such action. I understand it is compulsory for me to have ambulance insurance in some form and I accept responsibility for the cost of ambulance transportation, ambulance cover and further agree to maintain ambulance cover during the term of my license / membership. 10. PRIVACY MA, my SCB and the St. George Motorcycle Club Inc, use and disclose personal information for the purposes of conducting and administrating the Event and other related activities, including for identifying participants, recording results and providing member services or promotional material. MA collects, uses and discloses personal information in accordance with its privacy policy. MA may share your information with third parties as required by law, and including but not limited to disclosing your personal information for the purpose of administering the Event. The MA privacy policy contains information about how to access and correct personal information held by MA or how to make a complaint. Applications or services may be rejected if requested information is not provided. In certain circumstances, your information may be disclosed overseas, for example, to FIM. PERSONAL HEALTH INFORMATION I hereby agree with MA and the SCB that in consideration for my participation in the Event that MA and the SCB may receive, collect, store and use personal health information about me in the manner set out below: a) I ACKNOWLEDGE that: i) If I am injured, become ill or die at or following the Event the services engaged to provide medical services in addition to any hospital at which I am treated (together my Carers ) will have health related information about me in their possession, power and control relating to me which is subject to obligations imposed by the Privacy Act ( my Information ) and the Privacy Act is intended to protect my personal information; ii) MA and my SCB wish to collect my Information for purposes that include their risk management programs, evaluating and improving the safety of MA and SCB events and of the Meeting organisers and facility providers of MA / SCB permitted events, and generally to reduce the risks to persons engaged in motorcycle sport; and ii) It is reasonable for MA and my SCB to collect, store, use and disclose my Information in accordance with clause 11(a)(i) above and in the manner set out in clause 11(b). b) IN CONSIDERATION of my acceptance as a participant in the Meeting I consent and agree that MA and my SCB: i) may collect and store any of my Information, including obtain my Information from third parties including my Carers; ii) may use any information collected in accordance with this clause for any purpose consistent with creating safer competition in motorcycle sport and events held by or in conjunction with MA, my SCB, or with an MA or SCB permit; iii) may disclose my Information to third parties provided such disclosure is reasonably intended to be used for the purpose of improving safety at events held by or in conjunction with MA, or with an MA permit provided any such information is held by MA or my SCB in accordance with the MA Privacy Policy. c) I irrevocably authorise MA and my SCB and hereby appoint MA and my SCB as my lawful attorneys to collect from my Carers, and I hereby direct my Carers to provide to MA or my SCB upon request being made by MA or my SCB, any of my Information including but not limited to any information concerning any incident or event causing or contributing to or resulting from any injury, illness or death to me, the details of any diagnosis and prognosis provided to me by my Carers (or any party with the knowledge of any of my Carers), and any other matter to the knowledge of my Carers that might reasonably be considered to be requested by MA or my SCB for the purpose of improving safety at MA and SCB events. 12. POLICIES AND REGULATIONS I acknowledge, understand and agree that it is a condition of my participation in the Event that I agree to be bound by, and subject to, the rules, regulations and jurisdiction of MA as amended from time to time. Copies of all MA rules, policies and regulations are available by contacting the MA office. All participants are bound by the MA anti doping policy and thus understand they may be subject to drug testing. Testing conducted by the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) is in accordance with the ASADA Act and the National Ant-Doping Scheme. This involves the taking of a sample (any human biological fluid or tissue whether alive or otherwise, or any human breath) for the purpose of detecting the use of a Prohibited Drug or Doping Method. Any participant infringing MA s policy or refusing a drug test may be disqualified or otherwise dealt with in accordance with the terms of the anti-doping policy. 13. RIGHT TO USE IMAGE Right to Use Image: I acknowledge and consent to photographs and electronic images (including, but not limited to, moving images) being taken of me during my participation in the Event. I acknowledge and agree that such photographs and electronic images are owned by [St. George MCC Inc. and it may use the photographs and electronic images for promotional or other purposes without my further consent being necessary. Further, I consent to St. George MCC Inc. using my name, image, likeness and also my performance in the Event, at any time, by any form of media, to promote St. George MCC Inc. or the Event.
