3. COMPOSITION OF THE MISSION Only military personnel in active duty in the Armed Forces of CISM member nations in active status are allowed to participate in the 61 st WORLD MILITARY PENTATHLON CHAMPIONSHIP. Civilian Mission Members are authorized (Coaches, Waxes, etc.), but all athletes must be active duty military personnel. - 1 Chief of Mission - 1 Team captain - 1 Coach (male) - 1 Coach (female) - 1 Ad libitum - 6 Male competitors - 4 Female competitors In a total of max 15 participants CSC members are invited officially, and may be included as extra members of their country's mission, if participating in that competition. 4. ACCESS TO THE LOCATION OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP The Championship is hosted by the Korean Ministry of National Defense. The Garrison area is situated inside the Korea Army Academy at Yeongcheon (KAAY). The Missions are responsible for travel expenses to and from South Korea. The participating Missions are requested to arrive at Incheon International Airport. The travel time is around 4 hours. The organizer is responsible for local transportation from airport to KAAY. 5. CONDITIONS OF STAY During the stay in South Korea the Missions will be the guests of the Korean Ministry of National Defense from 08 to 16 October 2014. Organizer will not accept earlier arrivals or late departures. Normal board and lodging are at the expense of the organizer.
All Mission members will be accommodated in barracks and rooms of the Korea Army Academy at Yeongcheon. CISM representatives will be accommodated in separate venues, located in Yeongcheon city. Possible extra persons will not be accredited to these places. Extra expenses must be paid by the consumers. Sports facilities are mainly in the KAAY. The Obstacle run, Throwing and Cross-country events will take place at KAAY. Shooting will take place at Gogyeong Shooting Range, 7km from the main venue. An electronic scoring system will be used. The Obstacle swimming will take place at the Yeongcheon Indoor Swimming Pool, also 7km from the main venue. 6. REGULATIONS OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP The competition will be governed by the following CISM regulations: - CISM Regulations Edition 2011 - CISM Military Pentathlon Regulations Edition 2014 - CISM Anti-doping Regulations 7. ANTI-DOPING - Anti-doping tests will be organized in accordance with CISM anti-doping regulations. - The number of tests will be according to CISM Regulations. - The tests will be performed according to the latest WADA Anti-doping Code and Procedures. 8. UNIFORMS The participating missions are permitted and obliged to be in uniform (winter dress) during the stay on the scheduled occasions such as the opening and closing ceremonies. Sport attire marked with country name may be worn outside ceremonial events. We kindly request the delegations to bring one national flag size 0.75m 1.5m and 1 CD with your national anthem.

COMMITMENT BY THE CHIEF OF MISSION To be returned before 10 th September 2014 NATION The undersigned, Chief of Mission declares that he has read the Article 7.30 of CISM Regulations and moreover understood the following prescriptions: A. Chief of Mission 1. Chiefs of Mission shall be familiar with CISM regulations 2. Missions must not only participate or be present at sports events, they are also required to participate in information conferences on CISM, study days, commemorative and cultural events and ceremonies organized by the host nation. B. Conduct of a Mission 1. The Chiefs of Mission is responsible for the behaviour of his team in sports and general discipline. The Chief shall ensure that members of his mission respect the rules and directives prescribed by CISM and organizers of the championship. The respect of schedules is particularly important as they form the basis for the effective conduct of competitions and ceremonies. Instances of indiscipline or poor sportsmanship will be handled by Championship officials and may result in the disqualification of individual athletes or teams. 2. The Chief of Mission shall also enforce the rules concerning behaviour and dress during the ceremonies. He plays an important role in promoting the CISM spirit among his mission, a spirit represented by friendly attitude towards other missions, courtesy towards organizers and fair-play in competition. The mission, who does not wear military uniforms during the opening ceremony of a Championship, will not be authorized to take part in the Championship. The Official CISM Representative will communicate this decision. 3. In conformity with the Statutes and traditions of CISM, any political or religious action during a CISM event, in particular the dissemination of propaganda documents, pictures, brochures, reviews, etc, is strictly forbidden.
