Hello Mountain Vista Community! Mountain Vista has completed three Wish Weeks thus far granting over 12 wishes! With your support, we have big goals for this year! Wish Week will be held February 15 20!! Last year Mountain Vista sponsored a 4 year old named Asher and granted his wish to take his family to Disney World. Through buying Wish Kits, attending events, donating online and spreading the word to family and friends, the MVHS community raised a total of $62,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation!! That is the second largest school donation in the state! Not only did we grant Asher s wish, but we also granted 8 other wishes! Mountain Vista students, parents and community members showed what it means to put others first, to give back and to do something bigger than yourself. After a rough patch this year, Vista and the community is ready to come together more than ever! This February will be the 4th annual Wish Week at Mountain Vista, yet this year will not be like any other.

How can you and your child be a part of this life changing week? It s simple!! A Wish Kit! Each year Mountain Vista students design a T shirt that is worn by the student body, MVHS staff and community members at the end of the week to show unity and a sense of family. This year we have been fortunate enough to be sponsored by the Be a Good Person brand! The Be a Good Person mission is simple...the brand was developed based on a passion for positivity and a brighter future for our society. The best part...marlee and her family will be able to see everyone in their Wish shirts as they will be at Mountain Vista on February 19th for our closing Wish Week Assembly. To order a shirt, please use the link below (The deadline to order online is Monday February 15th at midnight): https://dcsdk12.revtrak.net/tek9.asp?pg=ws_redirect&extra_par ams=newurl~eventdetail.html%3fid%3d692257 There are only 4 quick things we need filled out in order to get a Wish Kit: 1. Student Name 2. Student Grade 3. Contact phone number 4. Size The Wish Kit mentioned above will be $30 and will include the Wish Shirt and Make A Wish Star that your student can write his or her name on to show everyone they are supporting the cause as well as the all access wristband. There are TWO WAYS to order your wish shirt: 1. Buying online until Monday February 15th at midnight 2. Buying your wish kit at school starting Monday February 8th at both lunches and during SOAR on Thursdays.
