It has regulation-height starting blocks (30 ) and ample viewing area for athletes and spectators. The Competition Course has not been certified in accordance with the USA Swimming s Rule 104.2.2C (4) Mike Mellock, 5738 Finch Lane, Greendale, WI 53129 (Payable to SWAT) Daktronics Timing System with horn start, touch pads, one button and 2 watches as backups. All 25 yard races will be started at the starting end and using 2 watches. All swimmers must be currently registered with USA Swimming. Age is to be determined as of December 1, 2017. Official 2017 USA Swimming and WI LSC rules shall prevail at this meet. There will be one class for 7 and under and Senior. All events will be pre-seeded. 8 & under events will be staged. A swimmer who crosses events between age group and senior are only eligible for one high point award. Points will not be combined between age groups. Heats may be combined to stay within the 4 hour rule, but will be awarded as separate age groups. All events are timed finals. Participation is limited to a maximum of four (4) events per day, plus relays. Age is to be determined as of December 1, 2017.
Entry Fees: $4.00 per individual event. $12.00 per relay. $3.00 WI LSC Splash fee per individual entered in the meet. Meet Entry: Entries must be received NO LATER THAN 6:00 PM ON Tuesday November 21, 2017. Entries must be in Hy-Tek format and be emailed to George Guddie at: coachgeorge@swimswat.org Send a copy of ENTRIES, WAIVER, and CHECK by Monday, November 27, 2017 to Mike Mellock at the above address. Deck Entries: Disabled Swimmers: Deck Seeded Events: Individual Events: Deck entries will be at the meet director s discretion, and will only be allowed if there are open lanes available. Additional heats will NOT be added. Deck Entries close 30 prior to the start of each session. All deck entries are $8.00 per event and $16.00 per relay event. All swimmers must be registered USA swimmers. Coaches are encouraged to inform the Officials and Meet Director of any special needs swimmers prior to the start of warmups. Entries may be limited by meet management to adhere to the four (4) hour session rule. Swimmers cut from these events by meet management will be refunded their entry fee or that fee can be used to be deck seeded into an open lane of another event. All 8 and Under 25 Yard events will start from the blocks and swim from the deep end to the shallow end. Relays: Coaches: Relay cards will be included in coaches packets. Cards must list swimmers first and last names (names must be listed in order of swim) and the ages of swimmers. 8 and under 2 nd and 4 th relay swimmers will start IN the water and will NOT dive into the shallow end for their exchange. Coaches Packets will be available at the table just outside the pool office. Any monies owed must be paid before you can obtain your packet. Please be prepared to show your USA Swimming Coaches Card at the time of picking up your packet. Coach s cards must be visible at all times on deck. Warm-Ups: Friday PM Session: Warm-ups 4:30-5:30 PM. Meet start 5:40 PM Saturday AM Session: Warm-ups 7:30-8:30 AM. Meet start 8:40 AM Saturday PM Session: Warm-ups will start immediately after the conclusion of the morning session and run for one hour. Estimated meet timeline will be posted on our website at www.swimswat.org by Tuesday evening, November 28, 2017. Wisconsin Swimming warm-up procedures will be in effect. Morning session will have 30 minutes of circle swimming with no racing starts. Feet first three point entry from the starting end during general warm ups will be enforced unless performing one way starts. During the second 30 minutes, sprint lanes will be opened as needed. The afternoon session will use the
same format. Violators of Wisconsin Swimming warm-up procedures may be subject to disqualification. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in preforming a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmers legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement. Awards: Admissions: Concessions: Conduct: Senior Events: No Awards. Ages 14 and up. Individual events: Ribbons 1 st -8 th for 13 and under swimmers. Heat Winners: Award will be given to all heat winners. Relay Events: 1 st -6 th for 12 and under swimmers. High Point awards will be awarded 1 st -3 rd per age and gender. Awards must be picked up at the meet. No awards will be mailed. $5.00 per spectator over the age of 12 per session. Heat sheets will be available to print. They will be available to print prior to meet on our meet landing page. Heat sheets will NOT be sold at the meet. Food and beverage will be available on the premises. Neither food nor beverages are allowed in the pool area. Absolutely no glass allowed in or around the pool deck. This applies to all athletes and spectators. Violators will be ejected from the meet. Each team is responsible for the conduct of its swimmers. The Meet Director or Meet Marshal may remove any swimmer from competition for disruptive or disorderly behavior. In accordance with the Federal Voyeurism Prevention Act of 2004 the use of cell phones, cameras or video recording devices in the locker rooms is strictly prohibited. Except where the venue facility requires otherwise, changing in or out of swimsuits other than in the locker rooms and other designated areas is not appropriate and prohibited. Meet Marshals shall have the authority to remove any swimmer/s from the meet for any violation such as improper behavior, damage to property, etc. Such teams are responsible financially for the damage of the property. Please make sure your team s area on deck and rest area is picked up at the end of each session. Limited seating for spectators with disabilities can be provided. Notify the Meet Director if assistance is needed. First Aid/ Medical: Lost & Found: Operation of a drone, or any other flying apparatus, is prohibited over the venue. This includes pools, athlete/coach areas, spectator areas and open ceiling locker rooms. Anytime athletes, coaches, officials and/or spectators are present. Exceptions may be granted with prior written approval by the Program Operations Vice Chair. 103.13/M/Drones Injuries must be reported to the Lifeguard and to the Meet Director. A first aid kit will be located at the lifeguard station. Lost and found will be located at the admissions table.
