Sunday s match is the third and final meeting between these two clubs in the regular season. The Hounds hold the advantage so far at 1-0-1, including most recently triumphing 3-2 at the end of August. This season s success against their in-state rival is in stark contrast to last year that saw the Hounds drop two out of three meetings (1-2-0). Overall, Pittsburgh is still in search of its first win in Bethlehem, having captured a point in only one of three meetings all-time - a 1-1 draw this past July. With at least a point this weekend, the Hounds can officially, for all intents and purposes, crown themselves the kings of the Keystone State for 2017. In five meetings between Bethlehem and Harrisburg this season, the Hounds are a pristine 3-0-2. In-state bragging rights aside, what s really at stake on Sunday is massive for both clubs in relation to postseason aspirations. Both a point out of a playoff spot, Bethlehem holds two games in hand over the Hounds, making a win almost of necessity for the Black and gold. Further backing up this notion, according to the USL, a win for the Hounds would bump their postseason odds from 20.3 to 44.3 percent, while a loss drops those odds to 8.6 percent. Bethlehem s chances meanwhile balloon to 86 percent with a win. So far the month of September has been a mixed bag for the Hounds with points in two of three games played, but no wins (0-1-2). In fact, the last win for the Hounds came against Bethlehem in August - the cap on a three-game winning streak. Multiple goals tallied continues to be the recipe for success for the Hounds with five of their eight wins coming under such circumstances (5-0-2). Four players for the Hounds are on suspension watch this weekend with four yellow cards apiece - midfielders Danny Earls and Victor Souto, as well as starting center backs Tobi Adewole and Jamal Jack. Adewole has started in 13 straight matches for the club dating back to July 4, while Jack leads all Hounds defenders in minutes (2273). With his next tally, forward Corey Hertzog would move into a tie for third all-time with Hounds great Rob Vincent, who netted 25 goals in 79 appearances - Hertzog is currently at 58 games played.
