What a fantastic end to our school week last Friday, with all students performing to families and friends their choreographed dance sequence learnt in only one 40 minute lesson that same day! Our students did so well having the stamina and resilience to keep up with the very energetic dance moves that Sarah had planned for them. What an amazing job and well done to everyone. It was a very vibrant and electric performance. We have many photos and a short video/movie of the performance that Kelli and I took that afternoon. We will post the video and photos in the foyer so we can all reminisce. I was certainly dancing around the house on the weekend having noted some of the cool moves that our YG students were using, with so much rhythm and expertise! This week is our last newsletter for the term and it includes our Foundation, Grade 1 and 2 Education feature. Enjoy! We have had another amazing term with much quality learning happening. I am very proud of each and every one of our students. So many achievements to celebrate. You should be very proud of yourselves. LOOK WHAT WE VE BEEN DOING IN THE JUNIOR GRADES! This term we have been learning about families and new toys and old toys in Inquiry. We have been learning about patterns and shapes in maths. The shapes we have been doing are ovals, triangles, circles, diamonds, rectangles and squares.

On Wednesday Abbie, Brandon, Grace, Cooper and I played dress ups in Investigation Time. It was really fun. -Jordan P/1M Once upon a time there was a goat that lived in a field. It was eating grass but there was a flee in the grass. The flea bit the goat. It was so itchy! The goat went and saw a caterpillar. It said to go get a leaf and eat it. So he ate a leaf and felt better. -Arkin, P/1M

Grade 1/2M have been learning all about the properties of 2D and 3D shapes. As part of this we have been doing an investigation called Once Upon a Castle. We have taken on the role of designers to construct a 3D model of a castle. We used our knowledge of the shapes that we have been learning about, great teamwork skills and lots of imagination!! Crystal and the Cobra One day Crystal took a stroll down the deep dark dessert. A scorpion saw crystal and thought Crystal looked good. The bills are so hard complained the scorpion but boy did Crystal know the scorpion was lying. She was about to help but knew he was lying so she said no. But why? said the scorpion because you are lying said Crystal. Okay you can go now. Phew said Crystal and off she went until she saw the king cobra so she ran and ran until she found her house. The king cobra followed but they caught him and trained the cobra to be their pet. The end By Hira

One day Dad got 4 cucumbers for his son but all the cucumbers rolled out the door. They went past all of the cars and rolled into my mouth. I gobbled up the 4 cucumbers. By Tyler P/1S Once upon a time there was a boy that was having a party. There was a dinosaur who wrecked the party and there was a shark who wrecked the party too. A dragon also wrecked the party. The boy scared them away with a torch then went back to his party. By Ryder P/1S
